Implore you to make typing SO and Invoices EASY!
I'm so disappointing there are not custom preferences for typing/quick entry lines for SO and Invoices.
Standard by MYOB, AccountEdge, Quickbooks, etc:
Quantity first, TAB, SKU, ENTER to create new line!
Why is SKU first? Standard English, you say quantity first, then the SKU. Please add option to reverse order of these two fields!
Pressing enter does not create a new line, it submits invoice! Why!? I need to click with my mouse physically "+Add another line" every time? What if I need to type 50 items, or 100 items?
Please fix this oversight, it is really crazy! Keep this one default if you wish, but add preference options and shortcut keys and additional customization.
I can never use this software for my company until this basic requirement is met and it is completely unacceptable as is. I can type 5 lines in MYOB before I finish a single line in ZOHO Books. Be efficient, give preference options, and please do it quickly!

Bumping this.
Zoho Books/Inventory's primary function, aside from the general accounting/contacts is TYPING, quotes, invoices, purchases.
Arguably, typing orders is one the most important features of Zoho Books.
Why can't we type these orders quickly, intuitively, and naturally? It almost seems like typing in Zoho Books is meant to cause frustration.
We need hotkeys, especially for assigning keys for functions such as:
1. Changing the function of "enter" key while typing an order line, so instead of submitting the order, it goes to the NEXT line, which is common sense for most of the world.
2. Have the option to create a hotkey to create a new line of remapping "enter" is not an option.
3. Hotkey to submit the order if function of "enter" can be remapped. We need to be able to type an order, with quantity before SKU. An option in the settings, so people can switch between the version that suits their business needs.
Please help!

I agree - how many people do single line invoices ?
A nice simple (selectable columns) grid with 3 rows to start & "add X lines" (with a changeable amount) would add another X amount rows would be good ! -

Currently Zoho Books as is, it is only good for service based management. I regularly need to type 50+ item orders. Service based, is only 1 or 2 items it makes sense, with a default quantity of one. Please expand your focus for product oriented companies!
