Currently Zoho Books as is, it is only good for service based management. I regularly need to type 50+ item orders. Service based, is only 1 or 2 items it makes sense, with a default quantity of one. Please expand your focus for product oriented companies!

I just wanted to add, the entry lines in Zoho Inventory are different from Zoho Books. I read that you are planning to integrate Zoho Inventory into Zoho Books. In that case, I hope this suggestion would also be kept in mind for Zoho Books.
Allowing tabbing, shortkeys such as enter to create new lines, and the ability to use quantity before product code would be so helpful!

I agree, tab, enter, F1/F2 key, or ALT+A. Something to make this quicker. If we are on the phone taking an order for 50 items, I can see clicking 50 times in a designated spot would take a long time...
Bumping this.
Zoho Books/Inventory's primary function, aside from the general accounting/contacts is TYPING, quotes, invoices, purchases.
Arguably, typing orders is one the most important features of Zoho Books.
Why can't we type these orders quickly, intuitively, and naturally? It almost seems like typing in Zoho Books is meant to cause frustration.
We need hotkeys, especially for assigning keys for functions such as:
1. Changing the function of "enter" key while typing an order line, so instead of submitting the order, it goes to the NEXT line, which is common sense for most of the world.
2. Have the option to create a hotkey to create a new line of remapping "enter" is not an option.
3. Hotkey to submit the order if function of "enter" can be remapped.
We need to be able to type an order, with quantity before SKU. An option in the settings, so people can switch between the version that suits their business needs.
Please help!
