If you have an idea for a new feature that you want to see in Zoho Books, then you've reached the right place.

While we cannot promise a timeframe for everything posted here, we'll definitely consider all your valuable suggestions and work on them based on their feasibility.

  1. Easier Receipt Upload from Mobile App

    Make uploading receipts from mobile app quicker and easier. It would be nice if receipts could simply be uploaded and categorized later, or even better some of the basic information extracted and details could be changed later. This will make the receipt upload process take mere seconds while on mobile app. Most clients are busy and if we make it as easy as possible to get receipts uploaded, that will help everyone.

  4. Ability to change the template on the Books application.

    Currently we cannot change the template when we generate a document on the Mobile application. We have to go to the web browser, make the change and then go back to the mobile application which is not productive. I suggest adding the ability to change the template when generating a PDF on the Zoho Books mobile application.

  5. Need banking in mobile app

    Really need the ability to interact with the banking section from within the mobile app. I didn't have my laptop and wanted to make updates from the app. No joy!

  7. Photos of Each Item In Mobile App when generating sales order or looking up items

    It would be really helpful if you add photos to the items in the mobile app in the items tab. It will make generating sales order and invoices much easier while on the go.

  9. Zoho Showtime : watch videos on-demand on mobile device !!

    Zoho Showtime (mobile app=showtime viewer) does not allow on-demand content (pre-recorded videos) to be viewed on mobile phones, which is very annoying for users who take online courses on this device, for example. At the time of "mobile first", it seems urgent to allow this functionality.

  10. Retainer in New Transaction (Mobile)

    Would appreciate if retainer invoice can be added to the New transaction menu of the customer list in the mobile app. This would help my sales teams to quickly create these transactions and avoid navigating the clunky menus and searching for customers in the dropdown field!

  12. Android 10 - Gesture Navigation and Receipt Cropping

    Recently, Google has added "Gesture Navigation" to Android. This allows you to go back to a previous screen by swiping left or right on the phone screen.

    To crop a receipt in the Android app. the cropping frame is very close to the edge of the screen. On several occasions, I have accidentally navigated backwards from the cropping screen.

    Could you make the cropping frame in the mobile app a little smaller so that it is not so close to the edge of the screen?

  15. Add a location tracking option for time sheet entries.

    Add preference option to turn location tracking on for timesheet entries. Allow reporting on staff, location, client and hours. Helps manage dispersed, unsupervised service employees, helps balance workloads and assists with tracking client's served and business geographical growth opportunities.

  16. Mobile App Version - Need to add option to enter Customer name and related project for items while creating BILL and project for invoice

    While using mobile app version of zoho books
    We are unable to enter customer name and project for each item while we make BILLS
    We are also unable to add project number while we make invoice for multiple items

    We have this option in the Website online version where we are allowed to enter customer details column while making bills and also we can add additional information while making invoice. we need the same option while we use mobile app version

  20. Create Expenses in offline mode

    Let the user to add expenses in offline mode and then it upload when internet is available like the following:
    1) user can create expenses with offline database in phone app
    2) offline expenses has offline flag
    3) if expense details dose not math zoho requirement like photo size or empty field, expense status can be "pending"

    This can be the start of offline mode for zoho books.
