Sub totals
While estimate creations, clients like to get a single quotation for multiple options, so I suggest to add sub total options.
Eg option 1 will have 2 3 items that I can subtotal, option 2 will have 3 4 item then their sub totals5 votes -
Page number and total page number should be a placeholder in footers (Page N of N)
There is only one option for page numbers and it puts the number way to the right of the template. The footer should include a placeholder for page and total pages so we can display them. It would look like "Page 1 of 3".

There needs to be a link to create a project from an accepted Estimate. There is no reason to create a project when the estimate may not be
Create a Link in the Estimate area to create a project when an estimate is accepted.

Automatically set expiry date on Estimates
A feature to automatically set the expiry date on Estimates. For example,
if all estimates are set to expire in 30 days, have the expiry date automatically set 30 days from the estimate date.4 votes -

Can't have the contact name in an estimate - note there might be a variety of different contacts within an organization and its more personal.

Allow users to customize Estimate Statuses
The statuses now available for statuses are: Sent, Invoice, Accepted, Declined.... It would be greatly beneficial if we could customize these ourselves to the language we want. Ex: Under Review, Declined Lost to Competition, etc....

mark estimates as invoiced or create invoice from multiple estimates
I frequently create invoices from multiple estimates. It would be nice to either be able to mark an estimate as "invoiced" manually or be able create an invoice from multiple estimates.

Can you have one line item and severeal different quantities on the customer estimate?
I may have 2 different parts to quote with different quantity levels. For example: P/N "ABC may need a quote for price levels of 500 - 1000 - 2500 pieces.
P/N "DEF" qty levels at 25 - 50 - 100
Can each part number be only one item # and multiple quantities below it?4 votes -
default items for Estimates
There are some items needed for almost every Estimate, so it would be great if we can default them, instead of adding them into an estimate each time.

Sales forecast
Add a module that considers historic sales data and using a seasonal algorythm calculates a forecast for future sales. Excel has this as an example ofnthe logic.

Enable larger images to be displayed - Thumbnail is too small
The image displayed in Estimates is too small for the type of products we sell. Sometimes it's small visible details that differentiate us from our competition. The images should be enabled to be as large vertically, as the description.

Better column filtering
It would be very helpful to have actual column filtering instead of creating new views.
For example, if you could click on "customer name' and then a dialogue box pops up and you can then click on which customer you would like to filter on. It would make it much quicker to find the estimate/ sales order/ invoice that we are looking for.

Having too much content in those templates to print only on "usLetter" format, I'm asking you to unlock the "usLegal" printing format at least for our personnalized custom templates. We"re a franchisor and we're about get our franchises to implement with your system after testing completed and meet our standard. Thanks

Follow-Up email for Estimates
Provide a way to send Follow-up E-mail messages for Sales Estimates already sent out to clients.
Currently, only Invoices can be sent a follow-up e-mail.

Add Discounted Unit Price
We need much more customization options for estimates and all templates. Example: I want to show discounted unit price, but I'm unable to create the field, create a formula or show a custom field on the template. I also need the option to show or hide when not populated. Showing discounted unit price is common in the US. Not showing this is awkward. Needs to be on estimate, order, invoice and PO.

Sequential headers in Estimate
I put two headers next to each other in several places in an Estimate. When I save the estimate, it deletes the first header without warning. Seriously annoying. I need these headers for formatting the Estimate in order to break the estimate up into sections with subtotals since Estimates do not support subtotaling for optional sections.

Request you to include Proforma Invoice under Zoho Books to record advance Payments directly to the customer specific PO. it is very difficult to make a PI for separate PO's and recording payment against it. it will be great help and save lot of time. the advance payments should be reflected in customers respective PO's and PI's for tracking of payment individually if needed be.

Estimates Section
In the Estimate Section , I would like to have the status update when its converted to Sales Order " From accepted to Converted to sales order"
Please do the needful as we are getting confused which estimate is accepted but doesnt convert to sales order.
We have it in the activity history but we would like to see in the estimation status itself before opening it.
