    I concur. Basic accounting functionality that is missing from books.

  3. Need a way to specify the live of a fixed asset and it should automatically post depreciation to each month or year at predefined rate

    The current workaround of recurring journal entries is insufficient for a fixed asset register.
    Most accounting platforms have a fixed asset register with depreciation calculations. It is very surprising that Books does not.

    Please can this be added.
