Add an option to create packages by scanning a barcode
We would like to be able to create packages using a bulk input option (similar to Sales Orders) so that we can scan each product to add to the package at the same time as packing the physical box.

Hello.
I'd like request add the option to auto generate numbers of Transfer Orders. We are making TO daily and it's a bit frustrating don't have this function already available.

Credit Limit Restriction
My business is mainly run on credit sales. In order to hit the sales target, my salespersons try to sell products without knowing customer credit limit. After having order agreement with customer, he creates sales order to get approval from manager. In this time, manager rejects the sales order because it is exceeded credit limit. Salesperson gets a problem with customer for breaking up the agreement. As a result, I am losing my valuable customers day by day in this way. I hope to have a setting to restrict for credit limit on sales order level.

We have added the customer credit limit preference to effect the Sales order. You can enable this option under Settings > Preferences > Customers and Vendors > Enable Credit Limit > select Include sales orders’ amount in limiting the credit given to customers > Save

change stock level with app
please update the inventory app to easily update the stock level. Scan item and press "+1" or "+8" or update your warehouse with stock level check and put "+" or "-" for a specific item.

A half arsed attempt to sync 2 sources of income for Zoho!
Vendors - Reorder items - In Books we have this list choice, why not in Inventory, it's actually more relevant here don't you think?
Purchase orders - no item receives in Books ?I have recently paid for Inventory (Books a year ago ) hoping it would improve my Zoho experience but in fact it makes it more difficult because we have to keep switching back & forth.
My biggest concern is the lack of user roles that stop certain staff seeing all the monetary details…1 voteWe have the item receive option. It will be available when add-on feature is enabled in Zoho Books. We are working on the user role feature.

We have a lot of customers that try to order from a visual description of their product. It would be nice to have a thumbnail view of items so we can help determine the correct item for them while we are on the phone.

Returns and Exchanges are essential part of now days online retail .All systems out there provide this basic functionality

Allow Dropship with multiple vendors
Sales order has an 2 line items. One from Supplier A and another item from Supplier B. We need the ability to do a drophipment for both lines. Currently we cannot remove one of the lines from the dropship PO

Item category or Class
You should allow inventory to be assigned to a class or category - and then allow reporting based on that class or category.
Example - we have some products which are on "close out" - we may be selling at cost or below cost. In our business reporting today, we need to break-out our COGS between our regular items and close-out - to see what the contribution margin is. We are having to do this by hand.35 votes -

ITEMS -- ABILITY TO CLONE OR DUPLICATE ITEMs
There should be an easy clone function within ITEMS so that new items entered can easily be cloned without the need to retype mostly the same info.

Develop instructions on how to permanently remove Integrations from Zoho Inventory
Our company has decided to move away from Amazon and are unaware of how to permanently remove the Amazon Integration with Zoho Inventory.
It would be beneficial to have a guide for users who wish to permanently remove integrations instead of only giving the option to disable.

eBay sales integration should include additional data from sales record
Sales order integration from eBay/Amazon should include message to seller, sales channel order id as reference number, quantity in stock after sale has been completed. Should be easy to grab from API for both channels.

currency items
Hello,
Why can't you just change the purchasing currency when creating an item?
We purchase products in a foreign currency and sell them in our currency. When creating this item I have to put the purchase price in my currency, so I have to put the price with an exchange rate in my currency, but this means that when I create a PO and the rate changes I have to change the price with the new exchange rate,... this makes it very complicated. Isn't it more logical that when you buy your Item in a foreign currency that you can…4 votesWe have released Vendor Price list. You can create the price list for purchases which can be selected while creating a Purchase order. This Price list can be in a foreign currency as well.

Composite Edit
Allow users to edit the pieces/parts of a composite item. Today I get an error message that composite items can't be modified if they're in other invoices, etc. Well - as the Admin - I want the ability to override. Sometimes 1 part may change, but the overall composite is the same (same SKU, UPC, etc) so we can't create a brand new composite to handle a sub-part changing.

i have some webhooks runnung in Zbooks, but now after introduction of Zinventory we manage orders from Zinventory, and these webhooks from Zbooks are useless

Warehouse on Zoho Books or Zoho Books integration (For invoices, sales orders...)
WE are jumping to one screen to another as each platform lacks some functionalities.
