If you have an idea for a new feature that you want to see in Zoho Invoice, then you've reached the right place.

While we cannot promise a timeframe for everything posted here, we'll definitely consider all your valuable suggestions and work on them based on their feasibility.

  1. Unlimited number of contact persons

    It should be possible to create unlimited number of contact persons. We can now create only 20. That's not good for big corporations.

  2. Notify or block users from generating an invoice related to an order that has been previously invoiced

    Currently I am able to create an invoice with the exact same order number as an order that has been previously invoiced. I would like to see a notification appear when the same order number is entered on an invoice to avoid creating a duplicate invoice.

  3. Mark up credit card payments

    Mark up credit card payments by specific amount. (Since Markup in price list changes the rate for every entry and this will confuse customers.)

  5. Ability to insert items anywhere in the invoice

    In our business (water well services) we often have more than one visit to a well or windmill. this means I have more than one entry for labor. I like to describe the work done on each visit, listing them separately. I often wish I could insert new data where I want it to be instead of having to only add onto the bottom. I usu. have to open up a new instance of the invoice so I can use it for reference and then edit another instance of it, deleted and rearranging the items as I want them. very…

  8. Create a task for Projects in Zoho Invoice based on the associated custom field in Zoho CRM

    What we want to achieve is when we create a task/event in Zoho CRM with new custom fields to match the fields in Zoho invoice, it will create a task in Zoho invoice (timesheet) for the products.

  9. Different prefix lettering for different customers in recurring invoices.

    There is currently no option to set prefix letters for a particular customer in recurring invoices with the number of the invoice changing as they are created as recurring invoices. I have 37 customers who I would like to have a different prefix for.

  12. Restrict list of customers for a given profile

    When in Zoho Invoice/ Reports for any profile, press Customise Report:

    then drop down to view Customer Name

    A user can see the name of all customers not just the ones they are/or have been assigned to. This is not great for providing access to time sheet functionality to Contractors who you might not want to be able to see full customer list.

  14. Reporting for Merchindise Items by Category and Department

    I'd like to be able to run a report by Department to see a breakdown of each area of my company. In addition within those departments I'd like to see a breakdown by Category. These area should be custom fields to reflect the companies setup.

    For Example: Department - Gift Shop
    Category - T-Shirt
    Merchandise Name - Black Happy Small T-Shirt

    Enable the import of line items from Zoho CRM Quotes. Currently ZInvoice does not support price lists that enable volume pricing. ZCRM does.

    Ability to set up list of standard shipping charges. Shipping charge automatically calculated on Total Invoice value.

    I.e.

    If Invoice value<$100=Shipping charge of $10
    If Invoice value<$500=Shipping charge of $ 5
    If Invoice value>$500=Shipping charge of $0

  18. To much space taking up in invoice when mixing Task and Items.

    To much space taking up in invoice when mixing Task and Items.

    When i make an invoice, which includes Items and Task
    The Task rows (top) takes up to many space below the task.
    After the ITEMS has been listed, there seems to be a lot of BLANK white wasted space, which leads to just a small piece of text over flowing to page 2.

    Is it possible to adjust the space between the last item on the row, so that you don't have so many wasted space below

  20. Create a recurring invoice from a sales oppertunity

    Convert an opportunity in to an invoice that can be billed every month. We are a SaaS provider and would like to make it easier for our accounts to make sure that new opportunities are not missed.
