  4. Multiple billing methods for tasks within a project

    For the A/E industry, our contracts are written by tasks. Task 1 may be a $500 lump sum fee and task 2 may be $5,000. We also typically have Tasks that are hourly. This is a simple modification to your program to allow for one project set up with fees (hourly or set) based upon task not project. I have to set up multiple projects for all my tasks. This makes billings / invoicing so much simpler and setting up projects simpler. Saves time, which saves money.

    Add scheduling features like project calendars, resource allocation, scheduling conflict resolution to the feature set.

  6. multiple timers

    It would be nice to be able to run multiple timers when tracking project tasks. I frequently multitask several things at once, and would like to be able to keep a running timer for each task, both for the sake of billing the client, and for tracking time/cost ratio's.

  7. Client approval of timesheet hours directly from email

    The addition of Client Approvals is very exciting, however, several of my clients are so busy that they don't want to log in to their client portal to approve hours (maybe they have forgotten password, or it's just more "clicks" than they care to go through). Is there any way they could click on an "approve hours" button directly from the email that they receive from Zoho?

  8. User Hourly Billing Rate To add in new user creation module

    Hello,

    I have many users working on many projects in the frame of your timesheet. It would be very good to add an option from the creation of the user thanks to which we would directly key in their hourly rate. I would avoid us to write it again for each project.

  9. Greater Zoho Projects and Zoho Invoice Integration

    It would be very helpful if Zoho Projects could be more seamlessly integrated with Invoice. To me this translates to full integration:
    - all projects in Projects are visible in Zoho Invoice
    - any changes made to budgets, hours worked, etc. show up in both programs in real time.
    - Time clock in Invoice also available in Projects - when recording hours in Projects, they become visible in Invoice.

  10. cards view by date

    In the time sheet view you can view all project hours by table, or by card view. In card view, it shows lifetime project hours, but no ability to determine how many hours were logged this month / week / day.

  11. countdown

    Stopwatch is making me nervous and unproductive.

    How about you add a "countdown" option?
    eg: "I will dedicate 25min to Task A", after 25min
    you warn me, I have a 5min break and then continue
    with this or another task..

  12. increase hourly rate

    I'm working with a customer on a mutli-year project. My rate increases annually. However, there appears to be no way to currently increase the rate annually without affecting historical reporting for a project (i.e., over-reporting revenue on historical invoices).

    My work-around is to create a new project for each year. However, the preference would be to have the ability to maintain the same project but with different hourly rates for different time periods.

  14. Allow tasks to have duplicate names

    Currently we cannot create a new task in a project with the name of an existing one.

    But usually, when we are re-discussing a project with client, arrive a moment when we are reviewing a task rate.
    So we have :
    "Task 1" - Rate 100$ in 2016.
    Then after rediscussion we will -
    - deactivate "Task 1"
    - create a new "Task 1 - Rate 2017" - Rate 110$

    But basically for the client, this is the same task / item. Only the price has changed.
    As that name (might) appear on the invoice, this is not very client…

  15. subtasks

    as you have in ZOHO project, You are able to make subtasks.
    With invoices this is not possible.
    So you could invoices the subtasks but you can log you hours for later references and new projects.
    For example.
    This is for project A for Client 1
    Prestudy is something i would like to invoice to my client.
    In the pre-study phase, I have to do some tasks like getting base info, talking with stakeholders, setting up meetings, making meeting reports.
    All the tasks I don't won't to place on the invoices, just pre-study the rest of the info is for…

  19. Option to bill per week - invoice to contain date range as line item

    When creating an invoice from a project, provide an option to group time sheet entries by week ending day (e.g. configurable to Sunday for example). This would result in an invoice line item for each week in a project.

    Currently, the options are to have each time entry on a separate line item or all time entries on a single line item

  20. Ability to Create 'Recurring' Projects

    Will be very helpful to complement 'recurring invoices' so projects that are ongoing will get budgeted on a project every month (for example will get X amount of hours budgeted per month), The projects may need to be then linked to the invoice and not just to the client.
