Subtotaling items/materials and tasks/services is a very, very needed feature. Please make this a priority. :)

I agree, we send estimates for specific areas/rooms in a home. Our customer does not want to see the total room by room sub-totals.

I would like to see this functionality added as well. It should be included in the Estimate module and have the ability to flow to the invoice.

This would be very handy to have in Zoho Invoice! A must have!

This is necessary in my line of work. It would eliminate having to create multiple invoices to a client, which can be confusing at times.

I'll like to suggest the ability to create "sections" in invoices. Each product could be (or not) assigned to a section. Each section should have a sub-total. Section layout should be controlled by the invoice layout.

Example : Let's say I'm a car mechanic and I use Zoho Invoice to bill my customers. I'll need 3 sections per invoice. "Time billed", "Parts" and "Consumables"

The invoice would be like this :

Item:Time Desc:2016-10-18 Qt:1 Price: 55$ ItemTotal:55$
Item:Time Desc:2016-10-17 Qt:2 Price: 55$ ItemTotal:110$
Item:Time Desc:2016-10-16 Qt:5 Price: 55$ ItemTotal:275$
Item:Time Desc:2016-10-15 Qt:2 Price: 55$ ItemTotal:55$
Section Sub-Total: 495$

###Parts###
Item:Radiator Desc:Model A Qt:1 Price: 100$ ItemTotal:100$
Item:Alternator Desc:Model C Qt:2 Price: 200$ ItemTotal:200$
Section Sub-Total: 300$

###Consumable###

And then continue with the normal invoice like we all know.
