Put the total amount received back onto the customer summary screen
Hi, the total amount received / billed to a customer used to be displayed on the customer contact summary screen. Since the timeline has been added this has disappeared. Could it be added back in as our staff found it useful to see what a customer had spent with us when talking with them on the phone.

Salesperson set customer level
Wholesale businesses use a specific salesperson for each customer. Each customer's salesperson is used every order and every re-order that the customer places whether the order is placed with the salesperson themselves, by fax, placed customer service or even if it is placed with a different salesperson.
Because of this, when creating a new customer record, we need to be able to set the salesperson in that customer record and then each time a new order or invoice for that customer is created the new order will set to the default Salesperson which was setup in the Customer record.

Create Custom View for Portal/Create Summary Template for custom View
I would like to recommend a feature that will enable to Create a Custom for Portal(If portal is not accepted) and also to have a export option that will only export the a template for Custom View that is Selected or Created. This will feature will be used for compiling purposes and will help track the customer.

Setup contact
Currently a contact must be either a Vendor or Supplier. No other choice. There should be "free"contacts that are not tied to particluar currency or sale or purchase. For example, shareholder, employees, counterparties. This will allow much more flexibility when associating transactions.

Sales & Purchases - Should be Customers & Suppliers
I am not sure why on ZoHo books - Customers are called Sales and Supplieres are called Puchases??? This root is adding 2 extra clicks 100's of times each and every day we use books. We have to click on sales then on customers and the same thing for the suppliers.
You should replace Sales with Customers - when clicking on customers tab then the tab will open with Estimates, Sales Orders, Packages Invoices etc.
Can zoho team make this change asap as it will save zoho users hours of work for every user each year????

Add alphabet search bar for customer and vendor views
On the Zoho Desk App, there is an alphabet on the right side of the screen for the customer tab. You can click on a letter and it quickly pulls up all the customers that begin with that letter. It would be great to have the same function in Zoho Books. Then I wont have to always use the search bar to find customers. I can click on the letter, and then scroll down using my mouse. It would be quick and save time. I get tired of using the search bar to find everything in zoho books.
