  1. Auto generate payment terms

    There is an option to enter payment terms in the contact record in Zoho Books, but the payment terms field in estimates are not auto generated, which they should.

    Many times for estimates a customer may want to change a quantity or remove an item before accepting. It would be great if they could do this in the customer portal.

  3. Give the option to "Add New" email contact while editing Estimate

    While editing an invoice, towards the bottom of the screen you can click "Add New" in order to add another email address....Please add that same functionality to the estimates as well. Everything else is basically the same in both Invoice/Estimate windows except that!

  4. Allow for discount on estimates which are prior approved with additional approval work flow requirement

    Our sales often come back with requirement of discount on their submitted estimate. We want the option to revise an estimate by providing line wise discount / total bill discount and also function to add or remove quoted items in the estimate. Any changes on an existing approved estimate should initiate second round of approval process for the changes.

  5. Estimate "email to" contact name in email template

    We can change which customer contact an estimate gets emailed to. Some things nice would be the ability to have the %CustomerName% place holder be the contact name on the email templates. Example: 'm emailing "X Company". The main primary contact for X Company is "Jan Doe". I want to send an estimate for x company to secondary contact "John Doe".

    To make "John" so on the estimate email template, the text has to be manually changed. (Unless overlooking the needed place holder to make this happen.)

  6. Display the total value of discount give at the end

    After applying the discount at the transactional level. The total discount given should be displayed at the bottom and then the taxes have to be calculated on the discounted prices.

  7. Custom Templates In Estimates need to be previewable

    Now that templates are customizable, I need to be able to preview my new estimate in Books. Without this ability, I have to create the entire quote, save it, download it as a PDF, then view it. Please make customized templates previewable.

  8. Allow me to convert my estimate to an invoice for any client, not just the one who received the estimate.

    Sometimes customers request estimates and find foundations to pay for the work, etc.

  9. Customizing Estimate # when quoting through CRM

    If we send an estimate through Zoho CRM, the estimate # has our own #, but also includes a system generated 14 digit number. We want only our own number to appear here and not the system generated one.

  10. Low and high range for estimates.

    I usually give a range of costs. For example, $500 to $600. It would be nice if there were a slick way to do that without adding it to the comments or description of the line item.

    we are selling hardware and software and we offer with it some services like installation ,tranining ,local support
    each product have different price for the services so what am looking for is when i select ITem A the system will auto add the services items with it as a sperate items

  12. the option to create estimates directly from selected inventory items

    would be cool to have an option to convert the selected items of inventory list directly to an estimate or invoice. just like the online stores do, you select what you want then create an invoice/estimate from that selection.

  13. Last updated date in estimation export

    When we export an estimate, we would like a last updated date as one of the field. It not being there has major issue in integration with our CRM and other system that we are using. And having to manually enter date in custom field is casuing a lot of hours being wasted.

  16. re-arrange the sequence of rows in app

    in the app there is no option to rearrange the sequence of rows in estimates or invoices. eg. its not possible to take the last row of the estimate to the top of estimate. or insert a new row between the existing rows.

  17. Filter : Quotes by sales person

    Hey, it would be great to have a filter on quotes by sales person. I can't see how many quotes (and the amount of the pipeline) have been done by salesman for a specific period.

  19. CRM/Books Integration -

    We lose a ton of options because we choose to use Books. Here is a list of what we lose by using books. It doesn't seem smart to penalize your customers when they choose to add more of your services.

    1 - No Docusign in Books
    2 - The HTML options are limited when creating a custom estimate template.
    3 - Terms & Conditions has a word count max.
    4 - Not able to manually approve an estimate in CRM

  20. Must have ability to re-orders fields on templates versus being stuck with the order (time) each field was added.

    This applies to all Books fields within the various templates (Estimates, Sales Orders).
