Start the financial year on 6 April
The UK tax year is 6 April to the following 5 April, it'd be nice to be able to sync the company financial year to a date that isn't the 1st of the month.

UK accounting periods always commence on the first day of the month for incorporated and most unincorporated bodies. You're referring to the personal tax year which would only be relevant to sole traders, not companies.
