be able to choose for an item to go into liability instead of sale or expense.
We have to collect gratituity tips from customers and pay them out to workers but that money should be going into liability account not as income and i have to manually move it through journal entries and it's a pain. Most accounting programs let you add an item straight into liability.

Allow Supplier Item Pricing in a Different Curency
I distribute products from suppliers arounmd the world. Their price lists are not in my base but their local currency - USD, JPY, EUR etc.
I need to be able to enter supplier currencies for each item. At the moment their prices have to be converted into the base currency. This means that when a Purchase Order is created in their currency the pr9ices are always wrong (as exchange rates change) resulting in me having to manually update each price from a paper price list.
This wastes a lot of time and could be avoided.

Export items by category and/or item search
We desperately need the ability to export any item at any time without exporting the entire list of items. In other words, we need to be able to isolate the item exported by category sometimes and other times by search results.
For example, if I search blower pulley...then the only items that should come up to be exported are blower pulleys. This will allow me to more quickly reset pricing and/or shift information without having to extrapolate out of a master spreadsheet.

Have new facility for Item Groups
We have products that are made up of multiple items, for example a "Promo Pack" might include :
10 x Leaflets
5 x Posters
50 x booklets
It would be good if we could create a new "item group" that included could include multiple line items in predefined quantities that way we could add these groups with a single selection rather than having to enter each individual line.9 votes -
Item PDF attachment & Order Revision Freeze
Greetings,
I would like to add a .pdf or .dxf/.dwg attachemnt to specific items
This would contain the 2D drawings for this item or the dxf aka 2D flat layout for laser cuttings for example.And a way to freeze the item if it's undergoing a 3D/2D model update/change, so it cannot be ordered while it's being altered.
This would be handy for ordering repeating custom parts without our engineering having to send the files afterwords in a seperate mail on each purchase order.

Assign items to a vendor
Assign purchased items to a vendor. The purchase information can be entered for an item, but the vendor field is not visible. When the items are exported, the field is in the export.

Please add feature sale filter report by items for each sale person.
Now i am experiencing difficulties in filtering the total sale for each item for sale person because in my company there are many sale person who sell services or products with different commission rate. So when I want to calculate/filter those sale persons, i cannot.

How to add my own HTML invoice template if none of provided template useful after customization?
In current given 50+ invoice template there is no option to adjust the width of any particular custom item if I want to give small width for the number ## and need to give more for start and end date DD-MM-YYYY so justify proper space utilization.
what if I want to show all 3 custom item in the same column as below

Composite Item or Bundle Item, Kitting
Item buy/sell individually as usual but when multiple item will form a bundle or combinations of multiple items then how do we manage in Zoho Books ? for example I am a shop owner, selling Tea, Biscuits & Snacks. If i want to form a Bundle item namely Tea Combo which will consist of Tea, Biscuit 2 types, sugar & Milk. and that too in a different price as a offer not as in all item price, also that should be refelect in inventory individually.

zoho books items linked to vendor portal for instant purchase price and MSRP sync
I would like to see an integration between zoho books items and vendor portal (example, ingram micro). Since prices of hardware and software tend to change from time to time, it would be nice if item prices sync with the vendor. The two main fields would be purchase price and selling price based on item vendor info. We have tested quotewerks that has the ability to sync items with multiple vendors.

Item Details - View Quantity Purchased
When viewing an item details, under the purchases tab, it shows the PO#, Vendor, Expected Delivery Date, but DOES NOT show quantity purchased. This is a very important detail that is missing.
EX: Item > Item Details > Purchases
DATE - PURCHASE ORDER # - VENDOR NAME - STATUS - EXPECTED DELIVERY DATE - AMOUNTQuantity Purchased is MISSING!!!
