invoice, estimate, Sales order editing permission should apply by user wise (i.e., The user should edit invoice, estimates which he created)
Dear Sir,
With reference to the subject above,The user should have edit rights to only which he is created (invoices, po;s estimates, sales orders etc.)
But he can edit & view all customers/items which is created by other users.
Only we need User wise EDIT/DELETE access to INVOICES, PO'S, ESTIMATES, SALES ORDERS etc.

Permanent test organization
Please allow subscribed users (at least with Professional subscription) to have a permanent 2nd small company with full features, in order to do sandbox testing.
As is, I'd have to double my Professional subscription cost to have a full-featured sandbox. Or else, create a new trial company every few weeks, which is quite inconvenient.2 votes -
Must be a setting that e-mails sent from the system is sent from the users e-mail addy and not the primary e-mail address of the system.
Customers are responding to the wrong e-mail address and we cannot set to automatically send emails out of books from the users e-mail. Only the Primary e-mail addy.

Data based access management
In my org, I would not want certain users to not see certain transactions. For eg, expenditures made of certain chart of accounts should not be visible to certain departments. Currently we can set module based permissions only and data within module based permission.

Role based transaction approval with additional criteria
Currently Zoho books is limiting us to setup a specific user to approve transactions and this is restricting us in a horizontally wide organization where there are multiple departments and multiple roles within each. In such cases, I cannot have one person to be approving all the sales or purchase transactions.

restrict roles
The Staff - Assigned Customers Only states Access to all modules, transactions and data of assigned customers and all vendors except reports, settings and accountant.
If you assign a customer to the user it is assumed that they can view / create purchase order, expenses, etc only for that customer. However, this user is able to see company wide expenses and Purchase Orders which is quite bizarre. This role should restrict the user's permissions across all modules for the assigned customer. Else it defeats the purpose of having this role.

Restrict Sharing option of master and transaction for certain roles
Restricting Export, Print and PDF is a very essential security option for our company, as the accounts is handled by executives who are in direct touch with our channel partners and competitors. They record all transactions related to our multiple branches. We would like to avoid sharing of our company data to people outside our organisation. As this concerns our security policy, kindly try to make modifications to help us protect our data.

Set language by user
The language of the interface and customer portal should be possible to set as per each user. I have staff who speak multiple different languages and it will be necessary for them to be able to log in and interact with the data in the language they are comfortable in.
