While we cannot promise a timeframe for everything posted here, we'll definitely consider all your valuable suggestions and work on them based on their feasibility.

  1. Project Budgeting should include cost of goods

    Project budgeting should also have an option to budget for items/goods that will be purchased for completion of the project.
    Currently project budgeting has option for only incorporating the services/man-hours.

  2. Search engine should search globally through all key fields, in all data types

    The search field should be a global search and organize the search results by type of data. It would be nice to enter a value, and know that search is looking through all major data points to find the term. As of now, the default is for the search to look at Customers. If you want to search Invoices, you need to first select invoices, or set the search parameter for the search to Invoices.

    As a reference, your own Zoho CRM, and the competitive Quickbooks both function with global search.

  5. Show proper decimal places with currency amounts

    As a user, anywhere in Zoho Books where I am looking at a bill amount, currency amount, or other monetary amount, the amount should display with the correct number of decimal places.

    Zoho Books currently trims tailing zeroes from an amount. For instance, $420.30 becomes 420.3. This is extremely awkward to read since .3 is supposed to be 30 cents.

    The number of decimal places should be maintained so that $420.30 always reads as 420.30.

  6. Generate business letter

    My organisation and any business organisation for that matter has to write letters/applications to various stakeholders regarding different subjects. Just like we can raise a purchase/sale order having unique autogenerated ref no. with in Zoho books it is imperative that in the same way option for writing letters is also provided. It would be easy to send it to various stakeholders from the same platform.

  7. Delivery Challan- Challan type has fixed values

    Surprised that the Delivery Challan module dropdown field Challan type has fixed values and there is no way of adding or editing like other dropdown fields

  8. Please don't put attachments to the right side of notes or terms and conditions

    Your recent update moves the Attachments options to the right of behind the notes field (bills) or the terms and conditions field (invoices). This makes it hard to see when scrolling down and makes the forms feel awkward. Please put it back to the left side under the notes or terms and conditions, so it is easier to see and when scrolling down and entering information.
