Lessons could also be taken from https://www.netstock.co/. Require the ability to not only highlight old and slow moving stock but also when items have a long lead time, what is the predicted requirement based on history so stock is not ordered too late.

The sales forecast is an important feature for all inventory users. Been able to view slow moving items and best sellers on the inventory dashboard next to one and other it and other little improvement that can bee done by ZoHo Inventory Team.

I've added an extra field that is called "default re-order quantity" and then I've created an items list report by vendor that shows name, SKU, stock on hand, re-order level, default re-order qty and my purchase rate. From here I can tick the items that are close or below my re-order level and I can create a purchase order with my default order quantity. This works ok, but the system is set to only allows up to 25 items to be added this way which is a real pain and I also can't see the committed stock. If these features were added along with the customize column allowing allowing committed stock, vendor and also "purchase account", I think this could really help a lot of people!!

This feature would be great especially if we can see in a modal screen the sales of a particular sku listed next to each month as well as projected lost revenue column.

We are yet to hear or see any updates on the inventory forecast function 3 years down the line now. I would certainly recommend taking an idea or 2 from an inventory software called Unleash, see link below! New features need to be released much sooner then they are happening right not - Zoho has a good platform but needs to be modernised and brought up to 21 century.

The sales forecast is an important feature for all inventory users. It should be intelligent enough to forecast best sellers and raise alarm bells for the stock that is not moving quickly enough in order to reduce cash tight up on unwanted stock!

without forcasting, I can not use the product.
forcasting is simple:
Select the warehouse or catagory to view all products.then set the forcast needs.
Sales Velocity - Average orders of the sku per day.
Days In Stock - Desired days product must be in stock.Reorder Quantity = Sales Velocity x desired Days In Stock
then, you need to auto create a P.O.
also you should consider auto PO based on last set parimiters to make this an auto pilot.
