Create a Packing List (needed for all imports/exports/customs)
Many business export and import cargo, either domestically or international. ZOHO inventory can already create a SALES INVOICE for items sold, but how about a detailed packing list.. Not a package slip, but a PACKING LIST, this is a international standardize document used to inform the shipping company/airline/transport vessel the following
-NO. OF PACKAGES/BOXES/CARTONS/CRATES etc. (called master carton)
-WEIGHT OF EACH MASTER CARTON
-Item contents of the CARTON, i.e. how many items in each carton and what items?
-CBM (cubic feet space) of each carton
-Dimension of Each carton wxhxl
It is a common document that is important to send to customers as if any cargo is stolen or lost, the insurance company will always refer to the packing list.. if there is no packing list, you are in trouble... I think this should be part of Zoho Books as it creates SALE INVOICES, but either inventory or Zoho books is fine, but it is a must!

There is a partial to this being the package, if you change the title to packing list you have this. It is just missing some of the fields requested. Zoho needs to add the options for those fields.

highly needed. We are not a online sales company but a distributor with high frequency of export shipments. Packing list is a must.
Im now having to mix automated process through zoho mixing with offline excel sheet for concluding this important document for international business.

I completely agree. I am looking into using Zoho Inventory for our company needs. Being able to generate a packing list is essential to decrease the paperwork. Without this feature, it breaks the workflow for us and is a deal breaker for us. If a full packing list cannot be automatically generated, a customizable packing (list) template would work for me. We need to be able to use the weight and dimension information as mentioned above in Rishi's comment. It's been under review since June 2016, are there any updates to this item?

I currently have to make a packing slip manually in excel. It would be nice to be able to generate a custom packing list from a sales order in Zoho where I am also able to edit the quantities being sent as well in the case that we are only shipping available items in stock and backordering others. Being able to put the weights and dimensions of the boxes would also be great.

I agree. Total weights are necessary for export documentation. Would be a very good feature.

I agree completely with this point, I am trying to find a way to use zoho into my import and export business, but something like that is missing
