item thumbnail view
We have a lot of customers that try to order from a visual description of their product. It would be nice to have a thumbnail view of items so we can help determine the correct item for them while we are on the phone.

Transfer Orders - Auto generate numbers

I'd like request add the option to auto generate numbers of Transfer Orders. We are making TO daily and it's a bit frustrating don't have this function already available.

Allow discounts by percentage on an item by item basis
Often we need to offer a customer a discount on a specific item. Instead of calculating the discount, it would be essential for us to have a discount option right next to the item list price. We could select 15% on one item, 5% on another, on the same Sales Order/Invoice.

Custom PDF Forms with Customer Information Merged after Subscription or sale
After a product subscription is added we should have an option to have a custom pdf (which we uploaded previously) automatically emailed with customer information overlapping the pdf. This would be great for contracts and policies.

Urgent need user permission in zoho inventory
since zoho books has user permissions to decide which section to be viewed, edited, deleted, who as admin or staff, wonder why zoho inventory doesn't has such important feature. Looking to implement this feature asap.

currency items
Hello,
Why can't you just change the purchasing currency when creating an item?
We purchase products in a foreign currency and sell them in our currency. When creating this item I have to put the purchase price in my currency, so I have to put the price with an exchange rate in my currency, but this means that when I create a PO and the rate changes I have to change the price with the new exchange rate,... this makes it very complicated. Isn't it more logical that when you buy your Item in a foreign currency that you can…4 votesWe have released Vendor Price list. You can create the price list for purchases which can be selected while creating a Purchase order. This Price list can be in a foreign currency as well.

Stock tracking in Zoho Inventory
Hi Zoho Inventory Team ,
I have created an item "A" in Items module and placed a Sales-order to customer, I got confirmation from customer and agreed on it and i confirmed it then made an invoice.Now what happening : I had 100 units available for this item "A" at a time of creating of sales-order but when i confirmed and raise an invoice , stock of item "A" is zero(0) because that 100 unit is packed for other sales-order.
When item stock is zero(0) then why does it allow me to create an invoice, I don't want my…

I am happy to tell you that this can be done.To do so:
1) Navigate to item preferences under settings.
2) Enable Out of Stock warning for your items
3) Hit the save button.Upon doing this, you/the user will be warned whenever you try to create an invoice for an out of stock item until the stock gets replenished.
Note: For this to work your mode of stock tracking under general preferences should be ‘based on bills and invoices’.

Increase number of attributes/features.. 3 is ridiculously low!
Any item would have more than 3 attributes... in fact you should provide this list to be unlimited..
Also some attributes should be allowed to pick up data from other fields or data sources as they might be dynamic in nature.. for example, brand names for certain items would be updated regularly...4 votesWe are increasing the item custom fields to 10. https://www.zoho.com/inventory/

Improve the zoho books for mobile app billing
In the mobile apps you have the SKU listed like a long series. Instead, if you create item-group icons and make the listing in two steps, it will make billing far easy. Whenever I have to add an item in billing, I go to first item-group by clicking an icon and than I go to the next item within the group. That way it is easy. Or it can be item groups in the line and characteristics of the items as dials. That arrangement will make it easy for selecting the items from

bcc address for all system emails
The Zoho CRM allows for a bcc address which will "match" emails to the contact. Thus, in CRM you can easily see ALL emails sent to a contact.
Currently, you cannot see any record of emails generated by Z Inventory / Z books.
You should allow for a setup setting where admin can define a default bcc address. This would bcc that address for all emails sent.
I could then input my Zoho CRM bcc address, and happily have a record of all emails sent - and they are attached to the contact.

Warehouse on Zoho Books or Zoho Books integration (For invoices, sales orders...)
WE are jumping to one screen to another as each platform lacks some functionalities.

Add an "item committed" column in the inventory details and the dashboard so that items that have purchase orders are no longer in inventory

Purchase Orders received should be shown on Zoho Books Purchase Orders
When you receive a purchase order on inventory it should show on zoho books.
For our company, the dispatch team would mark it as received so our accounts staff know what purchase orders to produce a bill for.
This would be a great integration and would improve communication between the departments.

Conversion option and Shipping cost option. Buy a Product in USD and sale in foreign currency. Add to sales price
There seems to be lots of choices, however, the one that would be super helpful is a currency conversion option. The conversion should be added to sales price. Another option is shipping cost added to inventory

i have some webhooks runnung in Zbooks, but now after introduction of Zinventory we manage orders from Zinventory, and these webhooks from Zbooks are useless
