1) Serial number tracking
2) Ability to add multiple items to an existing item group. Currently all field properties are greyed out.
3) Ability to add an MPN while adding them in an item group, not individual items.
4) Having the MPN show up in a purchase order, not our SKU.
5) Ability to use a barcode scanner to enter products during sales or purchase orders. Currently it only allows numeric values greater than 10 characters. It needs to allow alpha-numeric characters since company's SKU vary greatly.
6) Full sales integration with Zoho CRM. Our pipeline of potentials, leads, customers dont integrate with their expected revenue.
7) Product quantities to integrate between Zoho CRM and Zoho Inventory.
8) Sales orders and purchase orders to integrate between Zoho CRM and Zoho Inventory
9) Ability to add a discount/coupon to a purchase order. Currently you have to create an inactive item labeled coupon and then enter your value on the line item.
10) Add shipping cost or percentage to a purchase order.
11) Link a sales order to a purchase order. -

We are contemplating a move to zoho from sage 50 and ACT CRM but the following functionality is a requirement.
When will Zoho be able to track serial numbers for inventory items ? and allow these serial numbers to be entered into the system when goods are received ?
eg 5 pieces of an item are received so 5 unique serial numbers are asked for by zoho.these serial numbers should be printed on goods received notes for manual tracking.
when the goods are sold the system asks the user to select from the available serial numbers for the item being sold eg 3 pieces being sold select the serial numbers being issued from the items in stock.
these serial numbers should be available to be printed on picking lists, delivery notes, packing slips and sales invoices.serial numbered items should also be listed on stock take reports so that unique items can be validated during stock take procedures.

Here is something else that is very important: Have the ability to change a Sales Order after a package has been sent. If, for example, there is not enough stock to cover a SO and you ship part of the SO and the customer cancels the rest, the SO cannot be changed unless the package and the invoice is deleted, even though the invoice corresponds to the package.
Also... composite items please!!!

Also need:
1) X-Cart integration
2) Full integration to Zoho CRM so sales records to can be accessed.
3) Ability to create and process Proforma Invoices
4) Ability for purchase prices for items to be in vendor's currency. Exchange rate conversion would then be needed to create in base currency.
5) Ability to track serial numbers
6) Ability to track maintenance contracts (ideal but not essential) -

Zoho Inventory should be a really great product when it has some more essential features:
1) Ability to edit document templates (Invoices etc). At the moment I cannot use Invoices and Delivery notes as I cannot locate the address fields within an envelope window. Also essential to maintain corporate style.
2) Need to be able to create Credit Notes for returned items and cancelled orders.
3) Must be able to add custom fields to items.
4) VAT needs to apply to shipping charges for use in the UK. -

Not bad for first effort. To make this usable I would consider, ability to import files as SKU list can get quite large. Also maybe consider batch, expiry or lot tracking to enable managing stock rotation. I'm not sure how well tested the carrier API were but they don't really work - mainly because there are no package dimensions (or fields to populate this information). To ship items every carrier will ask you as a minimum (1) Destination (2) Size and Weight in metric or imperial

Hi. When creating a new Invoice there is a link next to the customer name that says "View CRM Info". Would it be possible to add this for new Sales Orders as well? Since this is what the client orders it would be beneficial to be able to see the CRM Infos at THAT time as well.

It would be great to track rental inventory. Our company rents our inventory out and has it returned; tracking and monitoring the history and movement of these items is our main inventory concern. Is there anything like this in the works?
