Bulk Updating of Orders
Hi,
We are a small business.
We find it hectic to update orders manually 1 by 1. Not to mention, it is prone to errors.
I have submitted this request from day 1 i begin using Zoho to Zoho staff but till now there is no solution yet.
Can Zoho introduce a feature whereby we can bulk update orders:
1) from 'draft' to 'confirmed',
2) from 'confirmed' to 'to be shipped',
3) from 'to be shipped' to 'shipped'.
4) bulk creation of packages
5) bulk creation of shipment
6) bulk creation of invoices
7) bulk recording of invoice payments

Item purchase and sell prices
When I open an item window I want to see easy:
reflection of sales: the price for 1 piece - who has bought = real transactions; the price for 1 piece - offer-prices for different clients
reflection of purchases: the supplier - the price for 1 piece - real transactions, an opportunity to see all prices of purchase which passed from one or different suppliers and to see all suppliers who delivered this product.
For now it is not OK, how it works.

link the sales person to the customer
When entering a sales order you can prompt for the sales person. If you have a large number of customer and sales persons, you cannot expect the person entering the order cannot be expected to remember the sales person for the account.
If the sales person was linked to the customer and then at time of enter sales order, the sales person would default to the correct sales person. Same as happens with price lists.

Allow for multiple preferred vendors and cost for each Item
We buy some of our Items from multiple vendors; however, currently in Inventory, I can only record one "Preferred Vendor" with one "Cost." I would like to be able to record multiple Preferred Vendor and Cost within an item.

links to other forms
In Zoho Books, for example when a sales order is made from an estimate, the hyperlink to the estimate is available to click in the comments section. However, in Zoho Inventory you have to click to view comments (which is annoying), but hyperlinks to other documents are not available. Is this possible?

Quantity Available should show even if stock based on receipts and shipments
The quantity available field on the stock adjustment form is only populated if the stock is based on Invoice and Billing. This should be calculated and visible even if stock is based on Receipts and Shipments

Item Purchase Information is useless
What is the point of a "Purchase Cost" in Purchase Information??? This area should show two values to be useful - and should be automatic
1.) Most Recent Purchase Cost - what you last bought the item for - this would be pulled from the most recent purchase order.
2.) Average Inventory Cost - this is the FIFO weighted value of the items.
Both these values help the user understand the average cost, recent cost, future cost, and is VERY HELPFUL in determining how to price an item.

Importing currency code
I tried to import 300 purchase orders with different currency code for different vendors but it did not get synced with the vendor, instead it took base currency as inr so 300 usd became 300 rs.!

allow to keep sales Information and purchase information in different currencies
We buy items in euros and sell them in GBP or Euros. We are based in the UK so our base currency in the inventory is GBP.
At the moment you allow to have one base currency and so both sales and purchase information have to be registered by using GBP currency.
We have a multi-currency bank account so we would like to be able to have two base currencies. When we make or receive payments in Euro we don't exchange currency but we use our Euro bank account.2 votesThe idea has been moved to planned status.

Integrate to:adress in system mails report
It would be nice to see at least to which contact the automated Mail has been sent to in a colum?
Maybe a link from the report could lead to the issued process (bill/order/sale).
Would'nt it be nice to keep outgoing mails stored (via IMAP maybe) or in ZOHO MAIL?

Drop shipment Feature Request
Can you make it possible to add a package with drop-shipment. The reason for this is, even with drop-shipments you still have to add a tracking number for it. So once you add the package it can update in the integrations. At the moment i am making new PO's instead of drop-shipments because i cant add a package to it.

Chance to make changes at received items in zoho inventory
It would be really helpful if you could make some changes in zoho inventory - purchase orders when for example we select received all for a purchase order then to be able to add some information about the item we received. Until now when we press received all and then press edit to add for example a serial number under the selected item it appears a message : Almost there, but...

Create assemblies out of existing products from Shopify
I use shopify and I've integrated both systems to track the stock of my products. However, I manufacture them, so I'd also like to track he material stock. I've seen the way of creating new item assemblies in zoho inventory, but I've not seen how to create assemblies from an existing product/item from shopify. The idea is to keep track of all materials in zoho inventory and do not upload that info in shopify. I'd like to know if it is possible to do that, and if not, if you would consider it as a future update.

Select items from low stock level screen to create purchase order
Select items from the low stock level screen to generate a draft purchase order. Given that a preferred vendor can be specified, it should be possible to view the low stock items screens select all the products that you want and add them either to an existing draft or create a new draft for each vendor.

Package status. "Awaiting Fulfillment" - This is an absolute MUST HAVE for a lot of businesses so that we know if the goods are ready to ship !!

Receiving Mis-packed Shipments
So, sometimes a vendor sends MORE than what you ordered. (Usually, they mis-count with another SKU, and you have more of one, and less of another.)
It would be nice to be able to receive over / under and be able to adjust the PO right then... meaning, still close the PO, with the inventory received, and any over/under is automatically booked as inventory adjustment. I will need to do this manually.
