Timesheet approval to customer
We like to send a completed timesheet towards our customer for approval, without sending the price details. either by e-mail or through the customer portal.

Display project name in invoice header
Currently, when creating an invoice, you can choose to display the project name in the item name. This creates unnecessary repetition. Please add an option, either in the "project invoice information" or, more likely, in the template setup, to display the project name in the invoice header (i.e., the section that contains customer name, invoice number, etc.)
Also, the requirement to show in item name at least one of the following: Project name, task name, staff name should be removed. In other words, I would like to show only the item description.

Overview Page View Projects see Unbilled amount
In the overview page, be able to see the amount on un invoiced projects for time entries and not only the un invoiced hours, it should be in your local currency using the exchange

In the ‘Overview’ page of each project in Zoho Invoice, the billed/unbilled amount will be displayed. It will be in the currency of the customer to whom the project is associated.

Add a set of tasks to a project timesheet
We would like to be able to create a set of tasks and apply them to a project, rather than having to type each task in every time we create a new project.

Default settings for creating Invoices from Projects
Option to provide default settings for creating invoices from projects. Thus if we have a fixed format for creating invoices the hassle of providing settings every time will be resolved.

In Zoho Invoice, if you set the “Invoice preferences” for a project and choose the fields to be displayed in the item name/description columns, it would be remembered for all the invoices for that project.

Bulk actions for Projects
Option to convert projects as active/inactive in a single click

We are pleased to let you know that in Zoho Invoice, you can now select the projects in bulk and mark them active/inactive.
Kindly head on to the Timesheet section, select the projects using the checkbox to its left and choose the required action.

Edit Note in Timer while it is running
The ability to start a note when you start a timer then update while you work would be nice. Currently I am using notepad then copy/pasting.

While you run the on-screen timer in Zoho Invoice, if you select a project and task before starting the timer, you can add and edit notes while the timer is running.

I would like to have the start time,end time and the duration of the tasks to be shown up in the invoice.

Option to Pause Time Logging
At the moment it is only possible to start and stop the timer. It would be extremely helpful if there was an option to pause as well to allow for interruptions. I have tasks that are being timed by the minute and a phone call can easily interrupt the task. I currently always have to stop and then start a new task which means I end up with lots of broken up time periods that really should all just relate to a single task.

Allow rate changes after an invoice is created
It would be very helpful to be able to change rates for a project or staff after invoices have been created using that staff or within that project. Currently there is an error message which says that changing rates after invoices are created is not allowed.
It seems totally reasonable that a staff would have changes in their hourly rate from time to time. Also, I have projects that last as long as a year. I might have a project hourly rate at the start of the project, but may want to change that rate at some point mid project.…

Display Project title in Timer Clock tooltip on hover (currenlty only Task displayed)
Can you display the project tile in the tooltip that appears when you hover the timer in the bottom left hand corner of the screen.
Currently it only displays the Task which is unhelpful as I have many timed projects and need to know which one the timer is working for at any one time as it can get confusing.

Add an estimate for a project
If there is a possibility to add an estimate for a project is very good.

Deactivated tasks should not be listed in the timesheet
When we de-activate a task in the project, it can still be selected when filling a timesheet.
If we select it, we receive an error (which is normal).
However, this would be much more user-friendly not to be able to select it anymore.3 votesHi Pierre,
We completely understand your requirement and we are happy to let you know that in Zoho Invoice, when you log time for a project, the inactive tasks won’t even be listed in the “Task” drop-down.

Workflow Trigger for Logging Time
Please add a Workflow trigger when a new Time Entry (Log Time) is created. I need it to send a notification to my client when we have completed a task.

View timesheet on a weekly calendar grid
View timesheet on a weekly calendar grid (similar to the weekly display view in Google Calendar). Include on grid Project name and time elapsed.

Have an alert (i.e.) "do you want to navigate away from this page" when logging project time in the weekly view. A number of times I have added to this page, then gone to a different page, only to discover it didnt save!!

Weekly Time Log
It would be a great feature to have an overview of all your projects in the Weekly Time Log. So as a user your existing projects are already prefilled.
