Hi there,
It is now possible to create Quantity-based Price Lists for items.
Please navigate to Price List creation page → select “Enter the rate individually for each item” option in Item Rate → click “Volume Pricing” in Pricing Scheme. (Refer the screenshot attached)
The Start Quantity and End Quantity will denote the range of item quantity and you can assign the Custom Rate per item for each range. A maximum of 10 ranges can be added for each item.
Once the price list is created and applied for transactions, the line items will acquire the custom rate based on the quantity entered.
Please do write to support@zohobooks.com for any further queries.

An error occurred while saving the comment TomS commentedThe ability to calculate commission either by % of item selling price or $/units sold would be extremely helpful. Also, the ability for an external sales rep who is not an internal Zoho User to have a portal like a customer does so they could see their sales commissions earned/paid/due. As most outside sales representatives are outside contractors, the ability to issue 1099 for commissions paid would be very helpful too. Flexibility on commissions per item, per order based on sales value and/or gross profit. Also, the ability to add in other related cost accounts or direct selling expenses if calculating based on gross profit. This becomes helpful if sales cycles are longer and meaningful costs are incurred to prepare, quote, and complete sales cycle. For example, often times multiple samples or prototypes might be incurred, or significant travel or proposal fees go into getting an order.

allowing quantities in a range to have designated price levels would be very helpful. That would accommodate volume pricing. We would need it in actual prices not a %markup or %markdown. For example, 1-3 = $10/unit, 4-10=$8/unit, 11-25=$7/unit.
