Consolidate Zoho Books and Zoho Inventory
I'm looking at the trial, and I am having a really hard time figuring out why zoho books and zoho inventory could not be handled all in a single screen.
Almost all the fields are the same, some are redundant. Why can't these be merged? If you want to charge separate rates, charge one rate for zoho books and offer a zoho plus that integrates these two modules as one.
It would be so nice to have one portal instead of having to switch between these. Less redundancy, that's the whole point of this software right?

Credit Limit Restriction
My business is mainly run on credit sales. In order to hit the sales target, my salespersons try to sell products without knowing customer credit limit. After having order agreement with customer, he creates sales order to get approval from manager. In this time, manager rejects the sales order because it is exceeded credit limit. Salesperson gets a problem with customer for breaking up the agreement. As a result, I am losing my valuable customers day by day in this way. I hope to have a setting to restrict for credit limit on sales order level.

We have added the customer credit limit preference to effect the Sales order. You can enable this option under Settings > Preferences > Customers and Vendors > Enable Credit Limit > select Include sales orders’ amount in limiting the credit given to customers > Save

Item category or Class
You should allow inventory to be assigned to a class or category - and then allow reporting based on that class or category.
Example - we have some products which are on "close out" - we may be selling at cost or below cost. In our business reporting today, we need to break-out our COGS between our regular items and close-out - to see what the contribution margin is. We are having to do this by hand.35 votes -

There should be an easy clone function within ITEMS so that new items entered can easily be cloned without the need to retype mostly the same info.

Allow Dropship with multiple vendors
Sales order has an 2 line items. One from Supplier A and another item from Supplier B. We need the ability to do a drophipment for both lines. Currently we cannot remove one of the lines from the dropship PO

currency items
Hello,
Why can't you just change the purchasing currency when creating an item?
We purchase products in a foreign currency and sell them in our currency. When creating this item I have to put the purchase price in my currency, so I have to put the price with an exchange rate in my currency, but this means that when I create a PO and the rate changes I have to change the price with the new exchange rate,... this makes it very complicated. Isn't it more logical that when you buy your Item in a foreign currency that you can…4 votesWe have released Vendor Price list. You can create the price list for purchases which can be selected while creating a Purchase order. This Price list can be in a foreign currency as well.

Improve the zoho books for mobile app billing
In the mobile apps you have the SKU listed like a long series. Instead, if you create item-group icons and make the listing in two steps, it will make billing far easy. Whenever I have to add an item in billing, I go to first item-group by clicking an icon and than I go to the next item within the group. That way it is easy. Or it can be item groups in the line and characteristics of the items as dials. That arrangement will make it easy for selecting the items from

Warehouse on Zoho Books or Zoho Books integration (For invoices, sales orders...)
WE are jumping to one screen to another as each platform lacks some functionalities.

Sales Order PDF - Address
Can you please upload information to Sales Orders PDFs the same way it displays in the inventory system?
ie. Address on ZOHO inventory website:

Ability to add items while creating purchase order.
In zoho inventory we are not able to crate item or item groups on the fly when creating a new purchase order from a vendor. tihs is strange because it can be done in Zbooks ... -- We need to be able to crate a group or item when inputting a new purchase order, as well as the present method which is to crate them first in ITEMS..

Option to show the SKU after entering the item in the Purchase order
During creation of a PO, user can enter the respective item via its SKU. However, when it comes to the editing of the PO, the SKU of the item is missing in the UI.
It would be great if the SKU of the item can be seen during the editing of the PO.

Stock Take / Mass Inventory Adjustment feature
Hi, I am running a retail business here and we realised that there is no easy way for us to make mass stock adjustment after our physical stock take. Our previous system, OneUP, even allows us to print out blank or stock count list with stock level reflected as in system. However, all of these features are missing in Zoho Inventory and we wondered what is the difference between Inventory and Book (in fact, we feel that Book is less buggy).
