Yesterday we had an order where we have to ship the order as several partial shipments. We were quite surprised that although we can setup partial shipment using multiple packing slips and shipping orders there is no way to create a document that relays this information to the customer with the shipment i.e. This is a partial shipment and to give the customer the assurance that indeed we are aware it is partial and the remainder is backordered). This should be a document that can accompany the shipment and/or also sent to the customer to advise them of the situation.

This would seem to be a very common occurrence (although we do not do it often we DO need to do occasionally).
We need for the system to be able to generate a document which reports the info to the customer so they know we are shipping the order as a partial shipment.
