this feature is not helping company with FDA traceability. Zoho lot number do not allow you to track lot on assembly items.

but this feature is unfinished or have a bug. it cant track lot number on assembly items, kits, BOM.
support told us the lot number can only be tracked on raw matirial item. not on assemblies. .

Now, you can identify and track the movement of each batch of product that enters into your store. Also, you can set an expiry date for the batch so that all the items are sold off within their shelf life.

This is also what I need before I can use Zoho. Tracking your products via lot numbers and BB dates is a legal requirement. Would be so happy if you add this!

you can add expiry date and batch code on the item setting, add custom field. We have done it. But since the zoho reports is not integrated in the zoho inventory we have to create the report in zoho reports

we need it so bad...

I think that this is feature is more than a "Nice to have" issue, since this exclude all market with perishable stuff where this wonderful tool could work

Any tentative timeline on addition of expiry date and batch number? Our client deals with perishable items and not having expiry date is a deal breaker..
