add mpn to purchase orders
I would like to see the ability to use the "MPN" field in purchase orders

Yes, MPN must be included as part of the search as well when creating a new estimate, sales order etc. In fact all of the available item fields. Minor change for you, big advantage for us :)

I have to agree with Mark. Using a MPN is essential in a PO. This is the only identifier a Vendor will understand. It is also essential to include the MPN in Purchase Price Lists.

IMPORTANT !!! I find it bizarre that you can't enter an item in a Purchase Order by using the MPN as part of the search. MANY companies use their own SKU numbers for presentation to a customer but would NEVER put the MPN in in customer communication. A PO sent to the supplier or manufacturer must have the MPN so they know what you want to be shipped or dropshipped. The current system FORCES me to include the MPN in my product description thereby making the information available to a customer. I also can't imagine this has been under review for 2 years now. This is as simple as adding a column to the PO creation whereby it allows entering the MPN into that column. I LOVE Zoho. Zoho has the technology covered but they just don't understand sales and how sales is done.
