Zoho CRM Sales Orders integration with Zoho Inventory Sales Orders
We use Zoho CRM to record new Sales Orders from customers. It will be great if the Sales Orders from Zoho CRM are synced to Zoho Inventory including the custom fields in Zoho CRM please.
There was a confusion on the earlier comment. Zoho CRM Sales order and Zoho Inventory SO for now won’t integrate. With all existing capabilities and with more tax handling capabilities finance SO would be developed and Zoho Inventory would be made available from Zoho CRM interface.

These sorts of requirements can be fulfilled in various ways, even if a native integration isn't available. You should consider a zoho implementation partner to assist you with any requirements you can't fulfil yourself easily. A multi-channel inventory management system makes it very efficient for small businesses usually selling their products via different selling channels such as physical storefronts, warehouses, websites, and marketplaces (eBay, Amazon, Walmart) to manage their inventory from a single source.

¡Hola!

Any update on this? Have you released the Zoho Inventory in the Zoho CRM interface?

Zoho Inventory seems like a good tool, but it makes no use of all the work done in Zoho CRM to organize the sales processes, rendering it practically useless for those who heavily use Zoho CRM.
It would be great if Zoho Inventory could be better integrated with it. So far, the integration is all but seamless, allowing no easy sincyng of quotes and sales orders between Zoho CRM and Zoho Inventory. In fact, CRM quotes aren't connected to Inventory at all, making it impossible to convert them into Inventory Sales Orders. -

Not for now?! This is really disappointing.
Do we have to face facts that Zoho CRM is now so far removed from any other Zoho product?
Its not just sales orders, the fact that the 'items' of Zoho Inventory (or Zoho books) can't even tell 'Products' of CRM how many items are in stock with the standard integrations tool. That is just one example of my frustrations with the lack of integration available from Zoho Inventory/ books to CRM.... CRM can dangerously dominate the finance (books) and warehouse (inventory) modules with incomplete/incorrect information, tail wagging the dog.....
So suggestions:
1) For Zoho Inventory/Books users, it would be useful that these modules can update CRM in a one way sync, rather than having the potential input errors of CRM allowed onto the all important Finance / Stock modules of Zoho Books/Inventory. At the moment the options are CRM only populates Books/Inventory, or sync both ways.
2) Expand the integrations options so ALL 'items' fields can be synchronised with CRM.
That would at least make the products section of CRM useful for Zoho Inventory and Books users.
3) Sales Order Processing (SOP) and Purchase Order Processing (POP) are fine with Zoho Inventory, much better than CRM. BUT we know we can't sync the SO's, PO's dispatches etc, etc....So my suggestion for these are off topic as relate to (probably) a complete re-think of how CRM works with other Zoho products.
My basic thoughts are that a lighter version of CRM is required . Books/Inventory have become 'higher authority' elements than CRM, and CRM is now needed to act as a more simple front end to link Books/Inventory/Reports/Mail etc. etc..I guess I am waiting for a Zoho suite which does all this in one package maybe, maybe...?

Absolutely the reason we are trying Zoho inventory/books is as described below: we are manufacturers who have used Zoho for a while for its exceptional CRM. The reason we like Zoho CRM is it is so clean and easy to use. We are considering moving from quickbooks to zohobooks/Inventory because we want better integration with our tools. This is a big deal not to be able to seamlessly use both tools. We already have disconnected tools today with zoho crm and quickbooks. But to be honest quickbooks is a little more robust for manufacturers. If you have no plans to improve the integration between the CRM and inventory modules, it will be difficult for you to win our business outside of the CRM. This tight clean integration with appropriate ability for customization of the data needs to happen. What is the reason to use the inventory module if not for that?

Sure. Will keep you posted on the updates.
