If you have an idea for a new feature that you want to see in Zoho Inventory, then you've reached the right place.

While we cannot promise a timeframe for everything posted here, we'll definitely consider all your valuable suggestions and work on them based on their feasibility.

  2. Why build it on Zoho Books Platform

    I am a firm advocate of an Inventory product to stand alone by itself, and if needed then integrate with other products including third party. The idea is to enter the house and once in, you can start selling other products there. If you force Zoho Books, then the sale is going to be more difficult.

  3. Allow Dropshipments after Invoicing

    Currently, you must mark an order for dropshipment before an invoice is created. We would like to be able to mark an order for dropshipment after invoicing, because depending on how long the customer takes to pay, we may later to choose from our manufacturer instead of our own office (or vice-versa).

  4. No way to define variants

    Spring Jacket

    Variants:
    Size: S/M/L/XL/XXL
    Colors: Sky Blue / Spring Green / Crimson / Yellow
    Material: Wool

    Items managed with Variants are important because often Items and managed as part of "programs"

  8. Generic Shipping Integration.

    Our shipping software is not included in the list but is critical to our business. It would be great if we had a generic shipping integration that we could use to connect to any other shipping solution not included in the list.

    Providing a generic shipping integrator is tough as all shippers are not united by standards for their app. All needs individual configurations. Please let us know the shipping services you are looking forward to integrate with.
