why It's not possible to sell an item by boxes?
why It's not possible to sell an item by boxes or packets and the quantity reduces from the main unit for the item which is CTN cartoon?
The idea is making an option to determine the quantity of an item by more than one unit. for example by CTN as main unit, and Box as a Sub-unit, but the calculated or tracking for the item will be based on both of them.104 votes -
Bundling Needs Unbundling Too
It seems that you have reduced functionality when you implemented bundling, which includes removing the unboxing feature. Our company has several composite items which are created from a series of "unboxed" parts from other composite items. The proposed work around (in the updated documentation) of adjusting inventory of relevant parts is profoundly error prone. Please return unboxing as "Unbundling."

Ability to add multiple photos to product/item listings.
The option to add more photos to each product/item listing would make it easier to see different items views (front, side view, back, up close/detailed view, etc.), could be used to show product labels (ex. nutritional values on food products, and warning or disclaimer information), and could be used to attatch a barcode image associated with the product.

Allow Custom Document (Sales Orders, Invoices, Pack & Ship) Creation
Current functionality appears to allow you to 'customize' only existing templates for Sales Orders, Invoices, Pack and Shipping pdf documents and you can only customize certain fields and not others (such as custom fields). I'd like to be able create my own custom template of the document like you can in CRM so that I can freely add and remove fields and change the layout.

issue debit note for returning reject goods
If some of the goods received do not comply to the dwg. then we have to issue a debit/Purchase credit note and return the goods with incurred expenses like cost of goods+transportation incurred proportionately. How to make debit note and also reduce the rejected qty from the inventory.

payment terms
Payment terms
I set up a vendor with (lets say) 30 day payment terms.
I create a bill in books with a bill date of (Lets say) 1st June.
Books knows that the due date is 1st July.

Alternate Units
- My product is Paper Plate. The purchase is always in boxes , however sales is either in terms of boxes or pcs. For eg a box contains 1000 pcs. So the sales can be 2 boxes or 2000 pcs. When sold in boxes there should be cascading effect so that the equivalent no of pcs is reduced from inventory. If the sale is terms of pcs where 2800 pcs this means 3 boxes should be deducted from inventory. I tried using the Box/ Unbox feature of Composite items, but this does not solve the purpose. Set individual reorder and restock levels for each location product wise.
Retailers who have large inventories and several stores often lose sales because a product is out of stock in a store but is available in their warehouse. In large inventories store staff often forgets to order on time, before an item is sold out at the store level. The software that we use right now, erply, allows us to set reorder and restock levels for each location individually. So if I sell 7 pcs on a an average of Red Shirt each week from Store A, then Store A should reorder is automatically when the ir stock levels goes down…

purchase order list needs to show Bill status
Since inventory available is sometimes based on bills and invoices, the purchase order listing needs to show the status of a PO in terms of receipt and billing. AS is, you must look at EACH PO to see its billing status... that should be more easy.
