  1. allow printing more than 25 invoices at once

    please allow us to print more than 25 invoices at once or email more than 10. I have hundreds a month and it takes ages to print them all or email them all (checkbox and then sending)
    not sure why someone went to the trouble of making it limited that makes the system unusable for me and hopefully others agree. please fix!

  2. Display Project title in Timer Clock tooltip on hover (currenlty only Task displayed)

    Can you display the project tile in the tooltip that appears when you hover the timer in the bottom left hand corner of the screen.

    Currently it only displays the Task which is unhelpful as I have many timed projects and need to know which one the timer is working for at any one time as it can get confusing.

  4. Indian Number system

    In India, we need to use INDIAN No. system... i.e. 1,00,00,000 .. not 10,000,000 ... i.e thousands, lacs and crores for indian currency

    Hi everyone,

    We are happy to announce that we have introduced the Indian standard of numbering for INR currency in Zoho Invoice :)

    You can head on to Settings > Currencies > Hover to INR > Edit and change the format there.

  5. Deactivated tasks should not be listed in the timesheet

    When we de-activate a task in the project, it can still be selected when filling a timesheet.
    If we select it, we receive an error (which is normal).
    However, this would be much more user-friendly not to be able to select it anymore.

    We completely understand your requirement and we are happy to let you know that in Zoho Invoice, when you log time for a project, the inactive tasks won’t even be listed in the “Task” drop-down.

  6. Zoho Invoice - GST Formats

    Hello,

    We are users of Zoho Invoice from India.

    As per Indian Govt regulations, from July 2017 the INVOICE format has to be as per Govt format.

    Will Zoho give this New format provision in Invoices. Please reply asap.

    Now that GST is rolled out, we have introduced a new template “Standard – India GST Style” in our template gallery, which displays the tax fields and all other details you would like to have in your invoices.

    If you click on Settings > Templates > Invoices > +New, you can find this template at the bottom.

  7. Allow import and update of existing items based on a unique field like SKU or item ID

    Right now I can't update my list of items in any way. Zoho support offered to do that manually (seriously?). Please allow import and update of existing items based on a unique field like SKU or item ID.

    Hi Mike,

    We would like to inform that we have introduced the option to import items and overwrite existing information based on the item name, SKU or the item ID. Earlier, only the ‘item name’ was kept as the base for comparing the records and now you can choose any of these 3 fields.

  8. Make the VAT Summary Table available in other European languages.

    The VAT Summary Table is available only with English labels. We need to be able to define the labels in other European languages.

    Hi there,

    We’d like to inform that in Zoho Invoice, you can completely cusotmize the labels in the tax summary table.

    To try this, you can choose Settings > Templates > Invoices > +New (or edit your existing template) > Total. You will have the options to show/hide the tax summary table and also change the column labels here.

  9. The ability to create a custom field within a contact with a piece of data that will remain constant and show this field in all invoices

    Most of our customers allocate us a 'Vendor Code' and I am trying to find a way to associate this with the contact so that whenever an invoice is created for a customer, our Vendor code (as we appear in their system) is displayed in the details box (i.e. Invoice number, date, terms, Po, Vendor code)

    The only work around I can currently find for this is to add as a customer field in the address section - not ideal and easily missed

    Hi there,

    Zoho Invoice allows you to create custom fields for customers with the preferred data type.

    For example, if you create a custom field called “Vendor code”, you’ll have the option to associate a vendor code for each of your customers.

    To display them in all the PDFs, you can simply choose to display the custom field in the customer address format (in Settings > Preferences > Customers).

  10. Add option "Allow editing of Invoiced Estimates?" in Settings for estimates.

    Some business would like to prevent salesmen to edit estimates after it has been invoiced.
    Similar to the option "Allow editing of Sent Invoice?" for invoices, we should have an option "Allow editing of Invoiced Estimates?" for estimates.

    Hi all,

    We now have the option to enable/disable editing of Invoiced Estimates.

    When the preference is disabled, we do not allow the users to edit the estimate.

    If the permission to change Estimate Preference is not enabled, we ask user to contact Administrator to enable this.

    Please go to Settings→ Preferences→ Estimates. You will find this option here.

  11. export new customer

    It would be great to be able to see/export the news clients per date.
    Not all the contacts, but those who have an invoice for the first time.
    To have the number of new clients per month..

    In Zoho Invoice, when you select the “Export customers” option, you can choose if you wish to export all the customers or just the ones created/modified over a specific date range.

  12. Allow 30,000 Characters for Automated Reminders

    For some reason, the Automated Reminder emails are limited to 10,000 characters, but the Manual Email reminders and all of the other email templates allow 30,000 characters. When using HTML, it's very easy to hit the 10K limit and why should the Automated Reminders have fewer characters than the manual reminder?

  13. Diffrences in expanses and billing

    If I buy an item for a project I need to add the expense to the project. But usually I add 10% over the expense before I bill it. It should be possible to add an expanse with an option with percentages to add before billing the project.

    Thank you for posting on our feedback forum.

    We’re happy to inform that Zoho Invoice now allows you to mark up expenses by a percentage easily so that you don’t have to worry about marking up its price during invoicing.

    To try this, log in to your Zoho Invoice account and select Settings > Preferences > General, where you’ll have an option to enter a default markup %.

    Once you save this and try creating a billable expense, the default markup % will be auto-populated. But, you also have the option to change this markup rate for individual expenses if you like.

  14. Export Specific Contact Type

    If I am viewing just overdue contacts, I would like to be able to export just that specific list. Same goes for the other categories such as inactive, unpaid, etc. I don't want to export the entire contact list when I am just looking for a few specific contacts. It should be an option to export just the list you are currently viewing.

    Zoho Invoice now allows you to export a specific set of contacts. If you like to export only the ‘overdue customers’, you can set the filter to ‘Overdue customers’ and choose the menu icon on the right > Export current view.

    It’s done! Yes, with the addition of “Custom views” in Zoho Invoice, you can very well achieve your requirement. To give it a spin:

    - Click on the Contacts section > Choose the “All contacts” filter on the right pane > Select “+New custom view”;
    - In the list of “Available columns”, the custom fields you have created will be shown. Hover the mouse pointer over the required fields and click on the “+” button next to it to add it to the new custom view you are about to create.
    - Finally, hit Save.

    This way, you can view the customize the way your contacts are listed :)

  16. Printing Batch Statements

    Not being able to batch print statements for all clients with balances or "overdue" invoices is a major shortcoming. It's a basic Quickbooks feature. Is that feature part of Zoho Books???

    You can now print/email the customer statements of up to ‘25’ contacts in bulk.

    To try this out:
    - Navigate to the “Contacts” tab;
    - Select the contacts whose statements you need to print/email;
    - Set a date range (The transactions created within this date range will be included in the statement);
    - Go for the “Send customer statements” or “Print customer statements” option.

  17. Please Remove the White Timesheet Navigation Column

    Please remove the white timesheet navigation column and make "Projects" and "All Timesheet" as a dropdown in the left side menu. This column is useless and takes up too much screen real estate for smaller screens

  20. can only email 10 invoices at a time

    I would like to better understand your limitation of sending out only 10 invoices at a time. Is there any way around this? We generate almost 1500 invoices a month now and I have to go through and manually send these out in increments of only 10 at a time. This will be very difficult for us to scale as we continue to grow. Also, if someone has 20 invoices and I send 10 of these out, I cannot figure out why the order is switched around among the 20 invoices after sending the first 10 so that I have…
