    I have the same request. I don't need the extra steps a SO brings. I'd like to go from Estimate, to Invoice on the customer side, and to Purchase Order on my vendor's side. All "connected" and tracked properly.

    Agreed, and I have disabled Sales Orders. However, now I can't "automatically" track, or create a Purchase Order to my vendor, from an accepted Estimate, or Invoice.
