Receiving an order/requirement from my customer is the first step in the trade process. Even after i opted for zoho books my customers has to call me to place an order. The customers may choose to call after business hours or in lunch hours, Holidays, or while iam driving. It takes a longer time for both of me and my customer to manually narrate the list of products required thru phone call. Also the chances of errors are more. And after that i have to sit in zoho books to type/prepare a proforma invoice (Estimate in zoho books) for the customer.
Instead of all this trouble, i would like to have an order form in my client portal which can be filled by my customer from his login and that can reach me. (The order form should display the items i trade.) I should be checking it, can able to make the changes and convert it to a proforma invoice and send it back to my customer. And then asusual he can pay the amount and i send the products to him with the sales invoice.
This small feature in clients portal can save a lot of time and manual work in the trade business. And it actually fulfills the purpose of the customer portal in zoho books.
I request the zoho team to add this feature and make zoho more customer friendly and save our productive time.
