    I hear your frustration! Relying solely on physical stock for purchase orders can definitely lead to backorders if you don't factor in committed inventory. It sounds like a great improvement to have the system display both on-hand quantity and committed amounts.

    In the meantime, have you explored any other reports within your inventory management system that might show committed stock? There might be a way to get that information even if it's not directly integrated with the "low stock" purchase order function.
