Currently Zoho makes great use of small icons to indicate specific statuses, like drop ships, back orders, forced fulfillment, etc. These are great, but they are flawed.

Some examples:

A back order icon pops up when you do a back order, great - this indicates at first glance that this sales order is on back order. But what happens when the order is received from your supplier? Ive noticed that even upon complete fulfillment of a sales order, the Back order icon remains. This is flawed, it should either disappear or better yet, switch to a new icon that indicates the order has been fulfilled.

An ideal situation would be 3 stages, Back order icon as it currently is, a stock ready icon when the inventory is received, and finally a fulfilled icon when the order has shipped and been completed. This would give a much better at-a-glance indication that inventory has arrived for the sales order for teams to better operate.

Another flaw, albeit a bit less important, if you have a back order which you mark as force fulfilled the icon for forced fulfillment does not appear. Again, it remains as back ordered. This icon should override the back order icon if the sales order is now marked as force fulfilled otherwise it is not being linear across the zoho app and can be confusing. We cant rely on those icons at first glance for information, if they aren't showing the genuine status of the order.
