Hi,

We have some issues with the Packages / Packing List in Zoho Inventory.

When we create a package and have some items that are not in stock at the moment, we currently need to remove these items from the Packing List before we create the Shipment, so that the Sales Order tracks that not all items are shipped.

However, we don’t want to work this way, because it confuses our customers.
Because when they receive a shipping confirmation with the Shipment List, the products that they ordered that are not in stock, do not show on the Shipment List. And the products for which we shipped fewer than the customer ordered, the quantity ordered from the original Sales Order should show next to the quantity shipped.

Therefore we need to keep all of the products of the Sales Order in the Package View and on the Shipment List, and show which products were not packed and shipped by showing these in a separate columns.

For examples:

Product A
Quantity Ordered: 5
Quantity Packed and Shipped: 0
Quantity remaining to be shipped later (Backorder): 5

Product B
Quantity Ordered: 10
Quantity Packed and Shipped: 10
Quantity remaining to be shipped later (Backorder): 0

Product C
Quantity Ordered: 20
Quantity Packed and Shipped: 10
Quantity remaining to be shipped later (Backorder): 10

Edit Package View (the view in the screenshot below) should be like this:

Product Name Ordered Packed Backorder
Product A 5 0 5
Product B 10 10 0
Product C 20 10 10

and the Shipment List that the customer receives when you send the shipping confirmation email should look like this:

Product A 5 0 5

Can you please modify the Package View and the Shipment List to work like this.
