Put the reporting basis on the P&L Report
Would you add the reporting basis to the header or footer section on the Profit & Loss Statement so it shows whether the reporting is either accrual or cash basis?
This is important in the U.S. because it impacts certain taxes and the reports must support the numbers submitted to the tax agencies. The reports also become permanent records in case of future audits.
I personally have no preference as to where you have the report show the reporting basis. It could either be part of the report title or somewhere in the footer section.

Delivery Challan
Delivery Challan is mandatory in so many cases after GST implementation. It's a must in Zoho books. Can it be added, please confirm.

Sorry we didn’t update the information here. You can customize payment terms while creating an invoice or while adding a contact. Choose ‘Configure Terms’ in the drop down list under Payment Terms to edit existing options or add new terms.

Payment Thank You Note template - include link to the paid invoice
When I log a payment for a client, I'd like to send them an email thanking them for their payment with a link to the paid invoice. Right now you can send a thank you note, but including a reference to the invoice paid is not possible right now. This seems like a basic feature most would want to see when sending/receiving payment confirmation. Can this be added as a placeholder option in the email template?

To include Invoice URL in the Payment Thank you Note email, go to Settings→Email Templates→Payment Thank you and then enter InvoiceURL placeholder.

Hi all,
We now have the option to Bulk delete the payments received. You can bulk select the payments and click on the trash icon to delete. You can delete upto 25 payments in bulk.

Active customers list
Would love to be able to view active customer separate for active contacts. Since these are the contacts I am working with the most being able to set it as a default view would be great too. Thanks

An option to filter active customers is now available using custom views. Find the ‘+New Custom View’ option by clicking on the drop down arrow next to ‘All Contacts’ view and set the criteria to ‘When Status is Active’.

Auto number or Manual number for Manual Journal Entries
Please allow to have both options for numbering manual journals.

Would like to set the credit limit to each customer so we do not do over trading with one customer.

We have added the option to set a Credit Limit for customers. When the credit limit is exceeded, you can set the option to restrict from creating/editing an invoice (or) show a warning message and continue creating/editing the invoice.

Duplicate item - Copy item
Need to be able to Duplicate or Copy an Items. Many items are built using a small variation of an existing item. To be able to copy 95% of an items info and just modify the relevant aspect that is changing is much less work than creating a completely new item. Of course you can import export and create duplicates in excel but this is not idea. Much more user friendly to be able to build an item inside the tool by copying an existing item.

We have the option to associate the reporting tag to the Manual Journals. While creating the Manual Journal, click on the three-dotted icon at the end of the line > Add additional information > chose the tag option.
When creating the Other Income in the Banking module, you will have the option to associate the reporting tag.Best regards,

Allow payment & invoice placeholders to function in the same email template
Right now, invoice placeholders (ex %InvoiceURL%) do not function in payment emails and payment placeholders (ex %PaymentDate%) do not function in invoice emails.
It would be nice if a client who made a payment could visit the web version of their original invoice and see it marked "paid" from a payment thank-you email.
It is confusing for a client to receive an invoice that has one appearance and then a receipt that has another appearance - they feel like they are from two distinct systems, and the experience does not feel cohesive.

New Zealand Payment gateway
Hi It would be good to see a New Zealand payment gateway supported.

Ability to delete or at least hide custom fields that have data
When we first started using Zoho books, we created some custom fields that we used in our old accounting software and after using Books for a while, we don't need them. I tried to delete them but since they are already in transactions I can't. I understand that but I would still like the ability to at least disable or hide those fields.

Link emails sent from zoho books to zoho crm
when sending an estimate or invoice from zoho books we can not see the email as a sent item in Zoho CRM Email or in Zoho Mail.
the email does not show as well in the communications sent to the customer under the (contact, or potential ect..)

Monday as starting day of Week
For some the work week starts on Monday. While reporting and entering timesheets and in projects, the week starts on Sunday and it is confusing.

Please go to the template → Click on Edit → Footer → You will find the option to display the amount in words.

Adding attachments in Project (e.g. under Notes)
I would like to have the ability to add attachments in the project, for example under notes. Usually our customers have a written sigh-off for the hours spend on projects, we want to organize these written sign-offs in the project.

To provide payment terms for bills, kindly navigate to the Bill and enter the required payment terms in the ‘Payment Terms’ field next to the ‘Due Date’ field while creating a bill for a vendor.

Customer Credit Report
It would be great to have a report (or column in the customer list) to see if a customer has a credit yet to be applied. I have customers who occasionally make deposits for services I have not yet charged for.
