This seems like a very simple thing to implement. Currently reports export ALL the fields. But that is often a negative - for example when I want to share the report with an outside firm. Having the ability to exclude certain fields, and also the ability to change the label/title associated with each field would be a big help.
The Excel formatted output is useful and is what we use, but currently we're stuck with the following options:
1. Turn off automated sending and instead manually edit the report before sending. Tedious and does not scale.
2. Build a pipeline (maybe using Zappier?) to automatically remove / relabel columns. Very high level-of-effort for a simple feature.
3. Share a bunch of information with an outside vendor that we really don't want them to see.
None of those options is very good. The best option is this one:
+ Zoho Books supporting the ability to choose which fields are included in a report/export.
