    I'm not the original poster, but I just opened a Zoho Books account and I'm kind of baffled that I can't figure out how to do this, so I've realized that it must not be possible. We run a service industry... we don't sell goods. Our services are tracked and billed by the hour, and different services are connected to different income accounts. Service Items are treated as if they are flat rate items to sell in Zoho instead of an hourly item to bill. We need the timer to track 'Items' not just tasks. Tracking tasks with the timer is useless because they don't connect to income accounts like items do.
