    It is odd that retainer invoices don't show up as receivables. These invoices are particularly problematic if you operate on a cash basis. In my books they are earned income once paid and not a liability. I can't use a regular invoice, however, because I still need to apply billable time to them as a record for the client.

    I agree. It is odd that we can't do that. I have to leave myself my own reminders outside of Zoho and manually send these. It's a real pain, especially with clients who are bad about paying on time and always need a reminder.
