    Just talked about this with customer support. As a workaround they suggested to create two separate contacts - one as a vendor and one as a customer. Not really graceful way in my opinion

    I mentioned the same idea earlier - highly desirable feature. Right now I create partial separate invoices for progress payments and then void them upon receiving payments (payments are applied towards master invoice on project level)

    This is a must feature. Very common situation. I believe the workaround now is to create multiple invoices in project scope, then apply payments to "master invoice" and then void "progress invoices". It clogs the system though.
    Adding the ability to invoice a % or fixed amount from the total of a fixed price project would put ZOHO far ahead of the competitors. I am really surprised that similar software (like QuickBooks or FreshBooks) have not implemented this feature yet.
