I see a serious flaw in Zoho Books where Tasks are assigned to Projects. This means that if you are a prior user of QuickBooks and you have 200 task entries, those entries are not shared in Zoho Books. One must create, or import, 200 task entries for EVERY Zoho project. This will substantially increase the db storage for Zoho unnecessarily.
Additionally, in my practice, I have both fixed and hourly billing - fixed for the standard services and hourly for extraordinary services that are beyond the fixed amount. This means that for one customer I have to create two projects, each with the same tasks. This is because my company tracks the activity performed even for fixed amount projects, in the event the court desires proof that the client received benefit from the fixed-based model.
This initial request is over 6 years old and the limitation still exists. I would be nice to see some movement so I can have an integrated Zoho system.
