    100% I vote for Invoice numbering must be per client rather than across multiple clients. we can use client number as prefix and serial start from 00001 client wise .. for example if 0393072002 their invoice number starts from 0393072002/00001 and second invoice will be 0393072002/00002, 3rd invoice 0393072002/00003 and so on .. This will give us a security not to guess the company size and user base..
