Batch number implementation in Zoho Books/Inventory is severely lacking!

For example: If I do a stocktake and find that I actually have some more packets of Product 1 - Batch 5 than I thought, Inventory won't actually let me add it to that Batch!!! It says Batch 5 already exists for this product, please choose another batch! Likewise when shifting products between warehouses. Without changing the product at all - I have to change the batch number! So to keep track of Batch 5 - I now have Batches 5a, 5b, 5c, 5d and so on! It's a nightmare and not how tracking of batch numbered products works in real life at all.
