Resize the logo in the invoice
For me, the logo in the invoice is way too big and distracting. Unfortunately there's no way to scale them down.

credit options
Hi,
Many a times, vendors offer credit to the business and it is bound by a limit and a duration. Vendor payments should be shown as overdue when either the defined limit overshoots or the credit duration expires. This feature is available in QuickBooks as a standard and is very helpful while creating purchase orders, so that we are aware of when actually I need to pay my vendor and help in managing the finances in a better way.

We have added the option to set a Credit Limit for customers. When the credit limit is exceeded, you can set the option to restrict from creating/editing an invoice (or) show a warning message and continue creating/editing the invoice.

add an option to put discount in item level to automatically transfer to invoice when item is added.
Have a box where you edit an item to put a discount % that will automatically be brought in when doing an invoice. As of now I have to keep another tab open and go find that item and open its details to see what the discount % is for that item. Very time consuming.

We believe setting up Pricelists might be the right solution for your requirement.
You could either create pricelists that can markup or markdown the prices of all the items on the invoice (or) you can selectively enter custom rates for the different items.

have a bank reconciliation report that can be printed
I am used to having a bank reconciliation report I can print and sign-off on and keep with the bank statement as evidence the account is reconciled. This is a fairly common internal control requirement. The report would showed the cleared and open transactions so that an auditor can see how the month end balance per the bank agreed to the balance in the general ledger.

Opening Balances of Suppliers/Vendors
Opening Balance of vendors should be the same as customers. It's difficult to put the opening balances through entering the previous year bills as for bookkeeping and audit purpose, we got the data of a client for a specific period.

Active customers list
Would love to be able to view active customer separate for active contacts. Since these are the contacts I am working with the most being able to set it as a default view would be great too. Thanks

An option to filter active customers is now available using custom views. Find the ‘+New Custom View’ option by clicking on the drop down arrow next to ‘All Contacts’ view and set the criteria to ‘When Status is Active’.

credit card
For deposits received, allow user to set the default "Received Via" field in the drop-down menu to be "Credit Card"
We receive exclusively credit card, but Zoho deposits default to received via cash, causing us to change it for every transaction manually. Thank you.

We have the option to configure the payment mode and set the default option. While you record the payment > click on the payment mode dropdown > click on Configure Payment Mode > here you can mark the default option.

remove Terms & Conditions
We are a project based company and this Terms & Conditions are not applicable for our company as we deal only with cheque / online transaction through RTGS. But we are unable to remove this line from standard invoice formate.

Customer Credit Report
It would be great to have a report (or column in the customer list) to see if a customer has a credit yet to be applied. I have customers who occasionally make deposits for services I have not yet charged for.

To provide payment terms for bills, kindly navigate to the Bill and enter the required payment terms in the ‘Payment Terms’ field next to the ‘Due Date’ field while creating a bill for a vendor.

Ability to delete or at least hide custom fields that have data
When we first started using Zoho books, we created some custom fields that we used in our old accounting software and after using Books for a while, we don't need them. I tried to delete them but since they are already in transactions I can't. I understand that but I would still like the ability to at least disable or hide those fields.

Allow payment & invoice placeholders to function in the same email template
Right now, invoice placeholders (ex %InvoiceURL%) do not function in payment emails and payment placeholders (ex %PaymentDate%) do not function in invoice emails.
It would be nice if a client who made a payment could visit the web version of their original invoice and see it marked "paid" from a payment thank-you email.
It is confusing for a client to receive an invoice that has one appearance and then a receipt that has another appearance - they feel like they are from two distinct systems, and the experience does not feel cohesive.

To include Invoice URL in the Payment Thank you Note email, go to Settings→Email Templates→Payment Thank you and then enter InvoiceURL placeholder. On doing so, clients will be able to view the Invoices with Paid status from the Payment Thank you note.

Bank Charges in Bill Payments as they are in Invoice Payments
A bank charges field when you make a bill payment. The same way it exists for an invoice payment.

We have added the Bank charges field for vendor payments. This bank charge is exclusive of the amount paid to the vendor.
As of now this field is not available for the India, UK, KSA and UAE editions as these regions apply a tax for bank charges.Have a great day.

Sorry we didn’t update the information here. You can customize payment terms while creating an invoice or while adding a contact. Choose ‘Configure Terms’ in the drop down list under Payment Terms to edit existing options or add new terms.

Allow automation triggers from Custom Sales Order Status as well as Estimated Ship Date
It seems you can create automated triggers from every status or field a Sales Order offers except for these two.
Estimated ship date would allow us to create automated emails to either notify our customers, or our own team of missed deadlines for shipments.
Using the new custom sales order status will allow for automation to be fine tuned to specific orders.
