Just like square or papal does if you don't have a mag swipe. Good idea. Wouldn't it still charge the manual key in cc card rate?

Hi there,
We now have a Zoho Inventory Add on option for Zoho Books. You can take a look at that. You can achieve a lot of these features using Zoho Inventory.

Regarding your requirements,
1- You can use the backtracking option to achieve this in Zoho Inventory. https://www.zoho.com/in/inventory/kb/sales-order/so-back-order.html
2- We have default shipping status based on the carrier in Zoho Inventory
You can refer this link – https://www.zoho.com/in/inventory/help/sales-orders/shipments.html3- You can use the custom function feature to calculate the sales commission.
4- sales profile and commission rate linked to different items – We currently do not have this option

6- We are working on item category in Zoho Inventory and will definitely update you.

There was a confusion on the earlier comment. Zoho CRM Sales order and Zoho Inventory SO for now won’t integrate. With all existing capabilities and with more tax handling capabilities finance SO would be developed and Zoho Inventory would be made available from Zoho CRM interface.

There is a duplicate item on the zoho books side, but not the inventory side. Just switch over and it does work.

This is a great idea. Right now I don't know what Sales Orders have been paid on an invoice so can box and ship. It's back and forth checking right now and as we grow it will get too complicated. Just having a staid of waiting on invoice payment would be great! Then when it's paid it can change the status to "ready for boxing". I'm sure ZOHO could make these configure options in the setup area for sales orders.
