An error occurred while saving the comment Jo Seawright commentedThat's what retainer invoices are... and they have a specific state for tax purposes so that they are kept separate from taxable revenue. If you research the definition of Pro-forma versus Retainer invoice there is virtually no difference other than one is considered marginally more legally binding than the other. The tax treatment is the same.

This is very much needed, even if a partial solution at first. Currently looking at using a custom module in CRM to be able to log assets against building sites (Deals) but the CRM doesn't let you pull in POs / Bills in the finance section, which would greatly help this issue and a few other. Because we need to know what expenses are against both assets and deals.
