Batch No. should consist Serial Nos,

Assigning items or item group to users
This can be helpful for manufacturing companies or restaurant where what you buy is not what you sell. Procurement users will only access raw materials while selling users will access final products for sale.
This would eliminate mistakes and reduce the amount of item that any one user can access.

Surpass packaging option
Surpass packaging option for items that do not need packing for shipment. It makes the process too long.

‘Stock On Hand’ should provide more details of the stock than just total numbers.
For example, if an item has 98 Nos. in-stock and let’s say items are packed in bundles of 12 Nos. then Stock On Hand should display Available : 98 Nos. in 8 Lots (Lot Size = 12 Nos.) and 2 Nos. loose.
Lot Size should be customizable at item level, so that we can have different Lot Sizes for different items.
This detailed info should also be displayed in ‘Zoho Invoice’ which allows us to Invoice items in lots which in turn results in more structured packing.

Adjust sales order quantities through packing quantity
When a customer places an order for say approx 5kg of apples, the weight of the product means we may have to deliver 5.1kg of apples (and will need to invoice 5.1kg).
Currently you cannot over/under supply and invoice on the true number supplied.3 votes -
Dealing with product samples
Please add the ability to deal with product samples. We are expanding our area and we have to give away many samples to costumers and it is very complicated to deal with them in Zoho Inventory. We have a separate warehouse for them but when we invoice it they have the same status as every other invoice which, in reality, are different.

Ability to print labels with a bar-code and any other relevant information.

Integrate with Zoho Forms.
Create an ' Zoho Inventory' field in Forms. Items could then be added to the Form like a Sales Order, but this allows for greater flexibility.

Scrap & Damage warehouse -For Free no cost
Any damage stock found in phsysical can be transfered to scrap ware house or an expiry , so it wont be in running ware house , so it wont get invoiced . this ware house should come free as part of invetory pack

sales order price $0
If a Sales Order is Created to shipp out a product to be repaired or to send a free replacement there should be the option to close it with out a invoice if the value is $0 in the price.

Need to be able to easily print the product bundles
We are a manufacturing company and since zoho does not have manufacturing yet, we need to be able to print the composite items and also bundles when we create them. Please include a print icon when bundles are created so we can easily print and see all items included in each multi level bundle.

Items - Sales Order Summary. I would like to have a tab so I know the number of units sold, not just the Total Sales
For purchasing it is useful to know the total number of units sold for a period when looking at an individual item instead of having to run a report.At the bottom of the Item page where the Sales Order Summary is, surely there could be the option of Total Units Sold

Improve inventory look up options when creating invoices ,PO's etc.!!
Users, that have a large inventory (currently i have 8000+ skus and counting) it is important to be able to search for items by more than just product name, description and SKU. other options to search for a product by barcode - NOT CHEATING BY REPACING THE SKU WITH THE BARCODE) Also integrating partial search results would be helpful. this needs to be done within the create invoice and create Purchase order page

we can locate my full production flow, so i can easy track my production with respect to bill of material for definite product.
my product flows in different phases ..
like first raw material then single product those used for manufacture again new product.

Multiple barcodes per sku
We’re planning to connect our pos system to Zoho. However, in retail, products with multiples barcodes is a common thing. Could you please add it to the feature list?
