Automated the creation of a bundle (BUN-XX) for composite items bought via API.
When a sale order with a composite item enters zoho inventory via API, a bundle for the number bought is created (while stocks last)

Add "Discount Amount" to Invoice Details Report
In order to understand better the amount of discount being provided in invoices, I would like simply to have this data available as a column in the Invoice Details Report.

Add Vendor field to inventory report so that it can be sorted/filtered by vendor or exported to excel
Option to add additioanl fields to inventory reports such as Vendor or custom fields eg best before date. Ability to export this information to excel so it can be sorted by vendor etc for stock checking/re-order planning

consigned items
Is there a possibility that certain items can be taken out of the warehouse and consigned to a reseller? Given that there are multiple resellers, having so many warehouses cannot be a good option. As an alternative, is it possible to have "locations" like racks and bins in a warehouse?

mass update selling price and purchase price on composite items
I have multiple composite items that contain same goods. When a particular item change price, I have to update the selling and purchase price on all composite items containing this item manually by clicking edit on each composite item and then "copy from total" on both selling price and purchase price. It would be great if this could be done as a mass update, i.e. apply a search filter finding all composite items containing this particular item with new pricing and then select all/check all boxes and include in the "Mark As" button (which now only gives options for activate…

Allow and item to be Inventory Tracked, but not sold.
This will allow for better use of composite items that are raw materials that get converted into finished goods. You don't sell your raw materials so why would they show up on sales orders.

Create assemblies out of existing products from Shopify
I use shopify and I've integrated both systems to track the stock of my products. However, I manufacture them, so I'd also like to track he material stock. I've seen the way of creating new item assemblies in zoho inventory, but I've not seen how to create assemblies from an existing product/item from shopify. The idea is to keep track of all materials in zoho inventory and do not upload that info in shopify. I'd like to know if it is possible to do that, and if not, if you would consider it as a future update.

mark received item on services or non-item
I have historical data from books where a PO has services or in some cases items which we did not create an item in books for and of course I cannot mark them as received. These PO's are hanging around as part received or not received although we have had them because it will not allow me to mark them as received. Main thing is they are obscuring the data of receivable items on the dashboard. Is there any easy way to tidy this up? Items can be assigned categories and can be made up of sub-items (raw materials)
such as 1. user allowed to create as many categories and sub categories for every item 2. each item could be made up of several "sub items" read raw materials. 3. which means every raw material to be treated as an end product or something that can be inventorised just like an item.

More Flexible Display/Sort on List Pages
I am specifically working on the Items page. The only option I have for sorting is by Name which is not useful for us. I'd like to be able to sort by SKU. In general, though, it seems like the User should be able to pick which columns are displayed and sort the list by any column.

Adding existing Items to an Item Group
When importing products created in an online store they come in as items even if there is a configurable. Right now you can add a new item, but not an existing. Also being able to edit the items group would be great!

Track items purchased against a sales order
It would be great if you can track the status of the items that have been purchased and items that need to be purchased for a sales order. Being able to check if a SO is "purchased" or "partially purchase" would be very helpful in ensuring nothing was missed.

For Books+Iventory: Add options for quicker/easier quantity entry & lines
I recently logged in to test Zoho, as I am awaiting until it is ready to handle the tasks that we require.
Currently, there is no easy way to quickly add lines. For instance, tabbing to move to other fields or pressing enter to create a new line.
One of the things that bothers me, is that when entering a sale quote or invoice, the format is SKU-Quantity.
There should be an option to reverse this. In the English language, when ordering 2 of the same item, it is standard to mention the quantity first, "I would like 2 iced…

Match by SKU for the import of Sales Orders.
Please include a match by SKU for the import of Sales Orders. This is the only common piece of information that we have with our Marketplace that identifies a specific item. This change would facilitate the importing of Amazon FBA Sales Orders.

How do I refund/return product to a vendor?
How do I refund/return funds to a customer from a sale? Then how do I report this in inventory management. IF product is still good, and if product is no longer good and needs to be returned to vendor.5 votes
