We are into Offset Printing Services, We need to ship products in different locations from a single SALE ORDER. As an example, we have an order of 3000 brochure to ship in 10 different location (300 each) in India. We are unable to edit the "ship to" address in package slip and Shipment slip. Each of these tables would be able to be named for the room/zone/area of the project they represent in or around a building. A subtotal for the individual tables would be nice as well. When working in the Sales Order (would like to be able to rename this so proposal) the user would have a room count field that they would enter the number of room/zones/areas for the project. Make batch numbers transportable
Batch number implementation in Zoho Books/Inventory is severely lacking!
For example: If I do a stocktake and find that I actually have some more packets of Product 1 - Batch 5 than I thought, Inventory won't actually let me add it to that Batch!!! It says Batch 5 already exists for this product, please choose another batch! Likewise when shifting products between warehouses. Without changing the product at all - I have to change the batch number! So to keep track of Batch 5 - I now have Batches 5a, 5b, 5c, 5d and so on! It's a nightmare and…6 votes -

Serial number tracking was the reason, why Zoho made it to the list of finalists. It is crucial for us, to know which product is where at any time.
- The way it was implemented is rather unambitious. Some examples: We sometimes create an invoice before we even order the product from the manufacturer...the serial number hast to be added afterwards (e.g. on the packing list).
- The person that is creating the shipment has to know which product to put in the box or at least be able to select the serial number himself. He is not touching invoices.

Breakout Composite Items on Purchase Orders
It would be really nice if you could click a button to break out a composite item on a purchase order and purchase the items that compose that composite item (Particularly with the back ordering feature in Zoho Inventory).

Add direct Chat Support
Please add a support chat within Inventory (and actually all the other apps). It will decrease the amount of emails sent back and forth and speed up the fixing of encountered issues.

option to incluide unit of package and quantity by package
In our case we sell our articles (textil) by squared metre (m2) but we serve packaged in rolls and in our case every roll has a serial number.
For example: we send to a customer 100 m2, and we serve it in 2 rolls of 2x25 m.So we need to have the possibility of:
- to introduce in the article sheet the package unit (if it is a roll, a box, a pallet, ...) and the quantity by package.
- to assign a serial number to a roll (not by m2)

Add another columns next to the "quantity to pack" column in Packages
We cannot add columns currently we are stuck with the pre defined ones, this is our URGENT REQUIREMENT.
While creating the package I want to add another columns next to the "quantity to pack" column
I want to add column named "packs" for the items;
example how many packs will be there say 10 packs for item A, 5 for item B etc, or column like "weight"Or atleast give the option of adding description with respect to the items

Adding variants (attributes) to composite items
In an online store, this will allow the customer to select or change a product in the KIT. For example, you have a set of 1 WINE and 1 CHOCOLATE BAR, you can let the customer decide which chocolate he wants.
So, the Composite product page will allow the store owner to add various attributes in the composite page and then create the composite for each attribute.
SKU 1 = WINE + CHOCOLATE 1

allow bulk adding categories
When importing/updating item price lists, the "Category Name" column looks like it is getting imported but somehow there is no category assigned when looking at the resulting inventory list. It looks like each individual category needs to be created BEFORE import otherwise it will be ignored.
My item categories are set by my suppliers and new ones get added fairly regularly. I don't want to manually add 2000-odd categories to my list of categories just so that the data will import properly.Please "auto-add" any new categories shown in the "Category Name" column of the imported csv file.

Advanced Inventory Tracking
Advanced Inventory Tracking feature:
Please allow us to customize and add the data fields when entering batch details. That can range from adding custom fields and allowing duplicate batch numbers, etc. Many of my items are altered based on sales regions.
Currently there are only 4 options: Batch #, Manufacture #, Manufacture Date, Expiry Date.

Split the SKU and Product Name fields into different columns on the Packing List, so that it's easier to view/read and each product doesn't take up multiple lines
