Provide for "just-in-time" inventory for Composite item bundles
A distinct shortcoming in the composite items feature of Inventory is that whilst it provides a degree of bill of material functionality it fails to handle the situation where you are selling composite items as finished products on customer orders ie. you don't carry any raw materials or finished products, everything is put together as and when you receive customer orders.
The Composite Items feature doesn't support "just in time" inventory in that you can't create the bundles to be sold via a Sales Order or Invoice while you don't have any stock. If Inventory allowed you to create such…

Unable to add attributes after creating an item group
Suppose a product has 5 sizes and i purchases only two sizes, two sizes has been added in item group. Next time i bought another size, i cannot add that to zoho group. Similarly, if a new color for product is manufactured, i cannot add the new color to existing group. Please find a solution to handle this.

3PL Integration for India
Hi,
I am one of the user of Zoho inventory user in India. We find no logistic partner that can be integrated with Zoho such as Delhivery, Xpressbees, Ekart etc. Sad to see Indian product not built for Indians.1 vote -
Barcode Labels
Provision of editable barcode template that should have the fields for entering basic statutory metrological information (such as Address, website, customer care no, mfg date, expiry date etc) along with the barcode in chosen standard.
Should be option to print labels from a document such as invoice, purchase order in same quantities as on the document.
Option to print labels individually as well from a section in Item module to print labels, where we can enter SKU and no of copies to be printed.

Item group invoice
Suppose I have shirt in 3 colors and multiple sizes available. While invoicing, I select a particular color and 2 size in it to be sold, invoice displays each item separately which creates a issue. It should display item group as a whole in a single line in invoice.

Search results count
After performing a search, the total count at the bottom of the results should reflect the searched / filtered results.
Ideally, the count would also be shown by default and repeated at the top of the page too.

Track emails sent from Zoho Inventory in the CRM
When we send a sales order from Inventory it isn't tracked in the CRM...this is a necessary improvement.

Height on comment textarea too short
When writing a comment the textarea field has a fixed height. This means text is hidden on long comments.

purchase order list needs to show Bill status
Since inventory available is sometimes based on bills and invoices, the purchase order listing needs to show the status of a PO in terms of receipt and billing. AS is, you must look at EACH PO to see its billing status... that should be more easy.

Composite Items Of Composite Items Of Composite Items Error
I have an item wich is used into a composite item
This composite item can be used seperatly or used into another composite item for a bigger product.Currently I cannot add both into a new composite because I have to select the correct one; Both are used in this composite so there is no "correct" one.
Also Composite Item groups would be lovly !

Larger Item Box
Is a bit silly but I would like a bigger Item box when creating composite items or make it dragable in size.
Since the SKU is put in front of the item name the most important part is cut off, which makes it annoying assembling composite items because there is no pop up that shows the remainder of the name.
Makes it a bit guessing work wich item you need.
Or Disabling the SKU showing would also free up a lot of space.
Just making the box larger would be handy, especially since half of my screen is still empty…

Nesting of item groups (so item groups can contain other item groups) to allow for sub categories
This would work very nicely with my other suggestion to let each item (and with this suggestion, each item group) to be in multiple item groups, giving complete flexibility in organization.
If you are worried about UI presentation in the tree, you can just stop the three display at a given level so clicking on the item group resets to the top level. Likewise any potential process that goes through all items hierarchically can stop when a loop is detected.

Allow creation of item groups without any items
Right now I have to create a bogus item just to be able to create an item group to assign my existing items to.

Allow assigning item groups to an item during the import
If you allow for items to be in multiple item groups (my other suggestion) this could complicate things, but you could either put a reasonable cap on number of item groups you can assign this way, say 3.

Payment Option in purchase order
I think there should be option to record transaction in purchase order. Some vendor ask for advance payment and provide bill only after complete order delivery. In this case, we can not create bill to record payment as bill is still not received.

Update bulk items selling price at one time
It's going to be much easier to change or update many items selling price at once.

On the Bills, please add a checkbox for each item that is received, for the items that are not checked in with a serial number.
It's not possible to check off items in a Bill as received. It's important to be able to check them off when they are received. They're never received in the order that they appear on a Bill, so a checkbox helps keep track.

emails sent from Books/Inventory should be visible in ZohoCrm
When reviewing communications with customers I was expecting to see the emails and dates sent to clients from within Books/Inventory and was surprised that these are not visible in ZOHO CRM.
Can I request that these communications are recorded in ZOHOCRM

To have a list of custom predefine packages dimension
It would be great to have the option to predefine packages dimension since I'm sending most of the time the same box size and envelop size. This would save time.
